Small private patio area outside the sitting room/kitchen for sole use of The Flat. Please note all other garden areas are private and not available for guests to use. Easy access to London/Heathrow airport on M4 motorway or from Newbury train station (taxi cost approx. £15 and takes 15 mins) to London Paddington. Access to Oxford and Winchester on A34 road. Two Michelin star restaurants within 3 miles. The Watermill Theatre less than 5 miles away. Newbury market town approximately 10 minutes driving distance away. Spa, restaurants, country pubs, market towns all close by. Highclere Castle (known for Downton Abbey TV series) close by A car is strongly recommended although it is possible get a taxi here from Newbury train station for approximately £15. There is a small grassy slope to walk down (please take care when wet) from the parking area to the front and back door of the Flat - please let us know when booking if you require access on one level and this can be pre-arranged via another route. We are located up a gravel farm track with some pot holes which may not be suitable for very sporty cars - please check with us first! We have installed super fast broadband!
