David & Martina's magic house

Our house is in a silent, small village, among wineyards, at the edge of the wood. It is 200 years old and we restaurated it, respecting its ancient soul. The furniture and all the objects are from our grandparents, friends ... everything has its own story and its life. This place is perfect to relax, to get the inspiration to write, paint or play music, read or just to listen to silence. From here you can take long walks or bike tours in nature, at the same time you are near the seaside. This is a perfect place also for a longer stay. We will be renting it also for a period of one month or more. It is not far from wonderful cities like Trieste, Ljubljana, Venice, from charming lakes, like Bled and Bohinj, the emerald valley with the river Soča, marvellous caves (Postojna, Škocjanska jama) and many other interesting touristic sites. In summer we offer our whole house to the guests. We live in a buliding on its side, in the same courtyard. We could meet sometimes, because we have to water the flowers, or if you wish to have some additional information. With us live three cats, Klepatra, Brandy and Handy (granthmother, mother and daughter). They are curious and they like to meet new people, but mostly they live therir own life. We leave you the whole house, but we live near it so we are there if you need anything. We love cooking and if you wish, we can cook for you. We have some typical dishes, which are always available (vegetable soup, homemade pasta, carst pršut cooked in teran wine and "palačinke" - pankakes with home made marmelade or nut cream) - last minute dinner or lunch. On the other side we also have a wonderful grill, so you can book a barbeque. We live in a healing landscape ... we can guide you on an energetic walk. Near the house there is a prehistoric Hillfort, which is well conserved and the village in itself is very interesting for its architecture. The village is 2 km apart from a smaller town and there are no public transports available, therefore it is better to come by car. In addition to the payment you make to Airbnb, there is the Touristic Tax, payable by us: 2,00 euro/day for adults and 1,00 euro/day for children and students till 26.
