Perfectly located between the town centre and beaches, Clovelly is a beautifully furnished, light and bright Edwardian town house. It is the perfect base for families and couples alike. The centre of Falmouth, with its shops, bars and restaurants, is only a short stroll away, as well as having the local beaches just down the road. This is a spacious, lovingly furnished property, filled with handmade furniture and all the comforts that you may need on your holiday. This spacious three bedroom townhouse is set over two floors with a private south facing garden to the back of the house. This period property has been tastefully decorated and still maintains many of the original features, such as sash windows, fireplaces and wooden floorboards. The ground floor consists of an open plan living room, with bay windows and an open fire, and a dining room with French doors leading out into the garden. The well-equipped kitchen also features double doors into the garden, and leads through into a good sized utility with fridge, freezer and washing machine. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two of which boast original decorative fireplaces, a bathroom and a separate WC. The master bedroom has a beautiful handmade kingsize bed, with an amazingly comfortable memory foam mattress, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom two has a double bed, a handmade chest of drawers and a large mirror, and is another bright and airy room which looks out over the garden. Bedroom three is a bright single with two windows and extra storage just outside the room. There is a good sized bathroom with toilet, bath and large overhead shower as well as another separate WC. On-street parking is available outside the property. There is a cot and highchair available, please let me know in advance if you will need these during your stay. Well behaved pets are considered. Guests will have access to the whole house and the garden during their stay, except the attic. There is also be a selection of books, dvds, board games and kids toys for your use. I will be available via email or phone should any issues arise during your stay. Our house is set on a peaceful street in an excellent location - only a 7 minute walk down the hill into the centre of town and an 8 minute walk to the nearest beach. There is a local pharmacy, newsagents, and a Spar shop at the end of the road. There are two children's playgrounds within easy walking distance. Easy access to all public transport options, with a bus stop just opposite the house and the train station and ferries within a ten minute walk. The preferred changeover day is Saturday but please drop me a message if you require a different check in / departure day and I can see what can be done to make it work for you. The same applies to shorter stays, these can be arranged depending on availability so please just ask. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions at all.
