Beautiful, peaceful and secluded cottage in Cusop, I mile from Hay-on-Wye, the famous book shop town. The Mill was built in the late 18th Century and a small stream runs through the stunning garden. Sleeps 7 people in 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a further separate loo. Newly fitted kitchen with rayburn. Separate utility room. 2 log burners. Have a look at our insta for more photos of the cottage and surroundings area: cusopmillcottage. The perfect place to stay to explore Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains National Park and the Offa's Dyke. The cottage has many antiques and is beautifully done up with old photographs and curios. There is lots of pace indoors and outdoors for everyone. Super fast wifi. Suitable for children and families or adults who want to get away from it all. Well behaved dogs welcome. Things to do nearby include Horse riding, canoeing and fishing. This is a totally separate cottage, and guests have full use. There is usually someone in the Mill House. The perfect place to stay for walkers next to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. The Dulas brook which runs adjacent to the property forms the frontier between England and Wales.Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, United Kingdom Cusop is a really lovely part of Hay. It is only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Hay, but you are in the countryside and it is so peaceful! There are some beautiful walks right from the door. A bridal footpath right opposite the cottage takes you up to the historic church of Cusop and then you can walk up for amazing views of Hay. A car is important but as Hay on Wye is 1 mile away more energetic people can bike or walk to do shopping, go to pubs and select little cinema or just browse the book shops. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. From 11 June 2022 to 30 September 2022, we are only taking bookings for a minimum of 7 nights. Check-in is from 3.00pm and check out by 10am.
