Luxury apartment with wellness facilities, just 10 minutes by car (15 by free ski bus) to Stuben-am-Arlberg and its ski lift connection to world famous Lech and St Anton. Winwald is a fully equipped one-bedroom ground floor chalet apartment (42m2) with sun terrace/garden area. Facilities in the main building include a modern restaurant and bar, a wellness area/swimming pool and a table tennis/games room. There is an allocated space in the basement car park, along too with a ski locker. Winwald forms part of the development known as the Arlberg Chalets in Wald-am-Arlberg. The apartment has been constructed and decorated to a high standard - we especially like the wooden flooring and the toasty under-floor heating! The bedroom has a double bed with Austrian twin-style mattresses and there's a comfortable large sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a powerful walk-in shower, basin and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery etc. There is a screen with Netflix and live Sky News, together with unlimited fast and free Wi-Fi connection. From the outside terrace/garden area, bask in the sunshine whilst taking in the great mountain views. The basement car park has a parking space allocated to the apartment and there's also a heated ski locker. Guests at Winwald have full access to facilities including the super new Wellness Area, which comprises a swimming pool with Jacuzzi-style power jets, saunas and steam room, relaxation area and an outside snow-zone (for the brave amongst you!) After that - if you still have any energy left - the table tennis room and childrens' games area is a popular venue. To round off the day and recharge the batteries, Bocks Restaurant and Bar will give you a warm welcome. . Upon making a booking, you'll be provided with a comprehensive information sheet. The village of Wald-am-Arlberg is picturesque and entirely unspoilt. Nearby Dalaas and Kloesterle are slightly bigger villages with more facilities (Spar supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants). The nearest large town is Bludenz, 20 minutes by car (or by number 90 bus). To access the main ski area, there's a large free car park at Stuben (just a 10 minute drive up the valley); otherwise the local free ski bus (number 90) stops right outside. From Stuben, the biggest connected ski area in the whole of Austria then awaits you! Ski or board in St Anton and the mighty Valluga one day and then head off to Lech, Zug and Zuers the next! If that's not enough, Wald also has its very own ski area - Sonnenkopf is a family friendly area, but one which in-the- know powder-hounds also love! In the summer, there is super hiking, biking, golfing, fishing and tennis in the area.
