Whatever the weather this ground floor 2 bedroom home will keep you very comfortable, cool in summer and warm in winter with ducted cooling or heating in all rooms and overhead fans. It is located in the coastal suburb of Hallett Cove and provides great home base to explore the southern area of Adelaide, including the renowed Hallett Cove Coastal trail, McLaren Vale Wineries, Port Noarlunga, swimming beaches of Brighton or Seacliff are only a 10 mins drive and 30 min drive to Adelaide city. Large 2 bedroom, ground floor home (no steps), that offers 2 bedrooms, 2 way ensuite bathroom to main bedroom and ducted/zoned reverse cycle airconditioning throughout. It is a fully equipped and furnished home for your exclusive use. (Bedroom 2 - Only available when booking for 3 or more guests). It has both front and rear private gardens and ocean views from the front of the home. Larger groups will enjoy having the 2 separate family/living/dining areas with a TV in each room. Fully enclosed backyard and a single carport with roller door. Off street parking also available in one of the available parking bays. The home sleeps up to 5 people in two bedrooms. 2 bedrooms – Main bedroom has a Queen size bed, and 2nd bedroom with double bed and single bed. Built in wardrobes in both rooms There is a main bathroom with bath, shower and basin and a separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher Crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery included Laundry has a front loader washing machine. The home has a recent installation of ducted airconditioning to all rooms (heating or cooling) and has overhead fans in all rooms which keep the temperature comfortable during your stay. Bedlinen and towels provided. 40 inch LED Smart TV in the lounge room (has Netflix option - Bring your own membership to login) please be respectful of data useage when using Smart TV or Netflix. 2 additional 18 inch wall mounted LED TVs in dining area and main bedroom Wifi available The home has two separate living areas which includes a dining/family area has an extendable dining table that seats 6 and a larger separate lounge area. CONVENIENCES & LOCAL ATTRCATIONS This home is located in a suburb of Adelaide called Hallett Cove. Enjoy the convenience of being only 30 mins drive from the Adelaide CBD and walking distance to public transport. 10 minutes’ walk from the home is the award winning Hallett Cove Bakery, and a select number of eateries including BBQ Chickens, Fish & Chips, Pizza and Indian Takeaway. The property is in an excellent location to explore what Adelaide has to offer. The famous McLaren Vale wine regions and the new cube structure at d'Arenberg Wines are only a 20 minute drive away. Beaches and restaurants of Brighton, Seacliff & Glenelg Beach within 5–15 minutes’ drive from the home. Only a Short drive from: 10 mins from WESTFIELD Marion - one of Adelaide's major shopping precincts with over 340 specialty stores, Myer, David Jones, including a new food hall, Aldi, Coles, Woolworths, cafes, restaurants and Events Cinemas. (Alternatively there is a bus nearby that will take you direct to Westfield Marion within 15 minutes). 10 mins from the waterpark at The South Australia Aquatic and Leisure Centre which has two slides that are considered to be among the fastest slides in Australia and has a Splash Park which is an interactive playground that is best suited for those under the age of 10. The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is also part of this complex and holds many local, national and international sporting events. 2 minutes’ drive from the home is Hallett Cove shopping centre with a number of specialty stores, grocery stores of Aldi, Woolworths, IGA Foodland, Big W, and Bottle Shops. It also includes The Cove Pub which serves great family meals and a number of other takeaways and restaurants. 5 minutes’ drive from the home is the Hallett Cove Boardwalk (Marion Coastal Walking Trail). This is a clifftop boardwalk along the rocky coastline between Marino and Hallett Cove and has a breathtaking view of the Adelaide’s coastline, with rugged cliffs and rocky reef platforms. The trail follows the cliff edge, descending down numerous gullies. The trail consists of boardwalk, steps and pathways. 10-20 minutes drive to the Vines Golf Club of Reynella, Flagstaff Hill and Golf Course Woodcroft. 30 minutes’ drive to Adelaide City/Adelaide Central Market, Rundle Mall Shopping, , see the Botanic Gardens, museums, Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Festival Theatre, galleries, theatres, zoo (don’t forget the Pandas). If you want to leave your car at home then take the nearby bus to the Marion Centre Interchange and you can go direct to the city centre and the attractions of Adelaide. GETTING HERE FROM ADELAIDE AIRPORT Drive to Brighton Road along the coast, to Lonsdale Road and the home is located just off Perry Barr Road or Barramundi Drive. Check in: around 4.00pm but can be earlier if the home is ready. Luggage drop and key collection can be from noon by prior arrangement. Late night arrivals can also be accommodated. Check out: by 10am The home is located in residential area with neighbours nearby and there is a no party policy or noise generally after 9pm, no smoking indoors or near open doorways/windows. Unfortunately pets are not permitted due to strata regulations. Guests have exclusive use of the home and front and back garden. There is also a roller door carport for a small to medium car. During peak season dates - for example Christmas/New Year & Easter we only accept bookings for a minimum of 4 people using both main bedroom and 2nd bedroom. I am available if needed but otherwise let you enjoy your stay. The home has a bus stop for public transport about a 2 minute walk from the home. This bus will take you direct to Brighton Beach/Train Interchange, Marion Shopping Centre & Cinemas (including the Swimming Centre at Oaklands Park), Flinders Medical Centre. The Bus also will stop at the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre. Car parking available for a small to medium sized car behind the roller door car park in the rear garden of the home. Car park available for larger car in the parking bays of this group of 8 homes. During hot weather with no rain and for stays longer than 5 nights, please turn on sprinklers for 45 minutes with the timer that is provided. . This automatically turns off so there is no need for you to wait around for it and avoids us turning up at time that is inconvenient to you or if you have clothes on the washing line. There will be times we still need to access garden for maintenance.
