Quaint Cottage in the Courtyard

Our cosy one bedroom cottage features a queen sized bed and ensuite with double basins, shower and toilet. The cottage opens onto a paved courtyard and is a few metres from our home which has spectacular views of Opossum Bay and the Derwent River. Electric heating and an electric blanket on the bed ensure warmth and a cosy feel. Good quality bed linen and towels are also provided. There is a television, bar fridge, coffee machine, stereo and wireless internet for your use. Guests can expect a continental breakfast. There are no cooking facilities available. Opossum Bay is a sleepy seaside village 50 kms from Hobart and it has two beautiful beaches and a shop. The RSL club is 6 kms from Opossum Bay at South Arm and provides excellent meals 4 days a week Wed - Sat. The other eating possibilities are the Foreshore Tavern, The Sand Bar, Thai Food or Eating on the Edge all at Lauderdale or you can pick up fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from Hill St Shop also at Lauderdale on the South Arm Hwy. Opossum Bay is on the bus route - check Metro Timetables for information regarding arrival and departure times. We travel in to Hobart most week days and can sometimes provide transport in to the city early in the day and back to Opossum Bay in the late afternoon.
