Our newly refurbished frontline seaside apartment boasts beautiful unobstructed views over Cumbrae and the Isles of Argyle & Bute. Facing due West, you won’t tire of the beautiful sunsets. The apartment is centrally located opposite the beach, with ferry terminal, town centre, bars, restaurants, train station and supermarkets all less than five minutes stroll. It is also 25 mins walk to the bustling Marina which has a further selection of restaurants and cafes. Our flat has been professionally renovated, being Architecturally re-designed to provide flexible living accommodation. It can be used as spacious two bedroom two bathroom accommodation, but can also be opened up to a more open plan layout for smaller parties to enjoy. The flat has been transformed into a bright interesting space, with quality hardwood and porcelain tiling finishes to floors and modern decor throughout including Nest controlled central heating. The entire flat will be available for you to enjoy. The flat is priced at a standard flat rate through the weekends to make it as affordable as possible for two guests. There are bi fold doors which create a private bedroom space. This bed will be locked unless additional guests are booked in. Should you require to have additional guests we can facilitate access to the additional bed, bedding and towels if requested. The additional cost of £10/person/night is essentially to cater for the additional cleaning and laundry which four guests require. We are generally readily available by telephone and can attend the flat to address any issues within an hour or so should the need arise. The flat itself is situated within the original Schoolhouse, constructed in 1871. It is a prominent building on the seafront, with a beautiful hall and stairway to the individual apartments. It is a relaxing place to watch the world go by and you can readily have a coffee or snack at the Green Shutters Cafe which is less then 50m away. Largs is served by a good local transport service, providing regular buses and trains. it is a 20 minute walk to 'The Pencil' or another 5 minutes or so more to Scotts at the Marina, after you have worked up an appetite. Vikingar is also approximately 15 minutes by foot, and with the town centre on your doorstep having a car to get around is not essential. For the very active Kelbourne Country Park is 45 minute walk, or 15 mins by bus. We always leave a Welcome Pack which will include milk and fresh bread to help our guests settle in. Tea, coffee and sugar together with other condiments are also made available. In view of current Covid-19 precautions we would greatly appreciate if guests could strip all bedding and place both this and all used towels in the black bags provided. this minimises and potential risk to the cleaning crew.
