Hornshayne Farmhouse is a large thatched farmhouse adjoining the owners cottage. There is the opportunity to see the milking or feed the calves. The farmhouse retains many of its original features. Outside there is plenty of space with a great play castle sandpit large draughts, unfenced stream & gas barbecue. There is also a large games room with a billiards table, table tennis table & table football. There are plenty of walks with outstanding countryside & fantastic views. Friday changeover. This stunning listed house is yours for a perfect getaway. Five spacious bedrooms all with televisions. Two bedrooms with zip link beds. Plenty of ground floor space with a huge farmhouse kitchen, perfect for mixed family celebrations. The house is set in over 400 acres of beautiful rolling farmland in the heart of the East Devon area of outstanding natural beauty. Perfect for walking, wonderful for dogs. We are 20 minutes from the UNESCO Jurassic Coast, close to the award winning seaside resorts such as Lyme Regis, Beer, Branscombe & Sidmouth. The cathedral city of Exeter is only half an hour away, & it’s airport is only twenty five minutes away. The nearest mainline railway station is about 4 miles away in Honiton. Please note we are a Friday changeover. We are available to speak to guests either in person or by phone email or text. This is the perfect get away from the daily grind of modern stressed out living. By car. We welcome guests to look around but would recommend old clothes & wellingtons to make the most of their stay. We are more than happy to take up to two well behaved dogs at a cost of £35 each. Please note that dogs are not allowed upstairs.
