Room and roof terrace with a stunning skyline-view

This over 1 century old, restored quay house is located on the edge of the Noordereiland. The center is within walking distance, there is a good bus connection and bicycles are for rent in the street. The stylishly furnished rooms are located on the top floor. Adjacent is a spacious roof terrace, with beautiful views over the roof of Rotterdam. Optionally, the front room can be rented, with two extra beds. Your bedroom is on the top floor with access to a spacious private balcony overlooking the roof of Rotterdam, the Willemsbrug and the Erasmusbrug. During big events you might be pleasantly surprised by a big fireworks show, but on all other days you can enjoy the tranquillity and the skyline of Rotterdam. Next to the bedroom you have a small living room where you can have breakfast, play a board game or read a book. This room also has two comfortable chairs, a closet with books, games and a small crockery set. There are plenty of things you can do in Rotterdam during the day and in the evening, but if you want to stay at home, you can always relax in this cozy room. Your privat toilet is one floor below the bedroom, and one floor lower you will find the luxurious bathroom with a separate bath and shower, including great views of the Maas. For example, very suitable for a family with two older children older than 6 years. The bathroom might also be used by us during your stay, you have your private toilet one floor lower. We would love to help you to make your stay in our apartment and Rotterdam as pleasant as possible, but respect your privacy as well. The historic Noordereiland is located in the Maas on a unique location between the modern Kop van Zuid and the city center. You can reach the city center by foot within 20 minutes via the Willembrug. You can also choose to travel by bus, which will take you to many iconic Rotterdam sites such as the Markthal, the Coolsingel and several museums in less than 10 minutes. For a complete Rotterdam experience, you can also take the Watertaxi at the end of the street to the famous Hotel New York, Fenix Food Factory, SS Rotterdam or even Kinderdijk. You can park your car for free in front of the house. Please note that Rotterdam has an environmental zone (“Milieuzone”), if you want to know whether you are allowed to access the city center with your car, you can check this on the website of the municipality of Rotterdam.
