Also bordering on our unique marine sanctuary, you will delight in snorkelling (we can help you with gear) and meet our aquatic neighbours under the water, but also coastal and foreshore plants and animals, as well as indigenous culture and history of the area. 5 min walk to beach, Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary, Ricketts Point Cafe, bike path to Black Rock, Sandringham, Hampton, Brighton, Parkdale, etc, etc. Also 5 min walk to lovely Concourse shopping strip - all that you need is here; IGA supermarket, good restaurants, cafes, great coffee, bakeries, fish 'n' chips, charcoal chicken, ice-cream shop, dentist, doctor, osteopath, massage therapists, Yoga studio, etc, etc. Bus takes you to Sandringham station to zip into the city, and in the opposite direction, to the Southland shopping centre to buy anything your heart desires. There is always plenty of parking if you have brought your own car. We are also in the epicentre of Golfing Bliss with no less than 9 world class golf courses right near by. Yachting nearby at Beaumaris Yacht Club, Surf Lifesaving at the Beaumaris Life Saving Club, snorkelling alone or with the Ricketts Point marine care group.
