Newly built Glamping Pod set in a quiet back lane overlooking the Ogwen river. The pod is fully equipped with shower, toilet, underfloor heating, SmartTV, Wifi, bluetooth speaker system, kitchenette including sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, small grill/oven/hob. ZipWorld is just up the road and there are many local amenities such as a Tesco Express, a variety of takeaways and several pubs all within a few minutes walk. Bethesda is a great base to explore Snowdonia & Anglesey There is a safe parking area which is sometimes shared with our other guests at our basement flat. Please park in a way to allow one other vehicle access. Please feel free to ask for any help with directions, recommendations on places to visit etc. Bethesda is a traditional Welsh community where 85% of the population are first language Welsh speaking. The village owes it's existence to the nearby slate quarry which offers the finest quality slate in the world. A disused section of the quarry is now home to ZipWorld, which boasts the longest and fastest zip lines in Europe. It is a friendly community known for it's high concentration of musicians, artists and creative thinkers, as well as climbers and mountaineers. Our property has it's own private parking for your convenience. The A55 is only 5 minutes drive away which connects you to Anglesey and the North Wales Coastal Expressway. The village is situated on the A5 and has frequent bus services into the mountains or in the opposite direction to Bangor and the coast. Bangor is on the West Coast mainline railway and has frequent services to Holyhead, Chester, Manchester, London.
