Beach Cottage
Set in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, our pet-friendly cottage invites you to relax and enjoy the varied natural surrounds that Seaford has to offer. Take a walk around the beautiful surrounds with a nature Reserve accessible from the back gate, and the beach a short walk away. Our newly renovated home is the perfect space to do as much or as little as you choose. Take a leisurely walk through the Reserve or curl up with a book and a beverage as the morning sun peers through the lounge room window. Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy a traditional BBQ with the family. Equipped with a gas heater and portable fan, the covered patio can be enjoyed all year round. Our garage has been converted into a children's retreat (compliments of our kids!) with a mini trapeze, swing and bikes to enjoy. Let yourself in via a lockbox key for a fully self-contained getaway. If you need anything though, we're just a text away. We are just a text away and here to help if required. Take a morning stroll to ‘Bear and Cub’ for a freshly brewed coffee or juice, and a delicious (vegan-friendly) brekky, before continuing the 5 minute walk to our pristine, secluded beach. If sand and sea are not your thing, try taking the leisurely 10km Kananook Creek loop walk, where you can explore the unique vegetation whilst burning off a calorie or two. Over 70 species of birds can be spotted at the Edithvale / Seaford Wetlands, a beautiful freshwater oasis, just a short walk away. Cooking might be off your holiday menu, so consider lunching at the Riviera Hotel, which has a killer bistro and a selection of wines from the peninsular wineries; or for something more decadent, a 5 minute drive into Patterson Lakes opens up a world of cuisine delights. If you're up for a long lunch or a dinner treat, Doyle's on the waters of Mordialloc is the place to go. Other little local faves - * The Little French Deli, Bonbeach * Two Feet First, Chelsea * Alice Rebel's, Chelsea A bus service at the top of the street will take you to the bustling city of Frankston, while Seaford Train Station is a 15 min walk for a 55 min ride to Melbourne City. Ample free parking is also available at the train station.
