Set on the rolling vineyards of French family owned Dominique Portet Winery and a 5 minute drive from the bustling village of Healesville, this charming house has plenty of space for a large family or a group of friends. With easy access (even walking or biking) to some of the best wineries and restaurants the Yarra Valley has to offer and a fully equipped kitchen and lounge with AppleTV, wifi, a wood fire and plenty of books and games, you may never even make it to town... Spacious bedroom layout includes, 1 master suite with king bed and ensuite, a 2nd king bedroom and a 3rd queen bedroom. There is a large family bathroom with separate toilet (no bath). A cosy living room with AppleTV, enclosed wood fire, books, playing cards and boardgames has something for everyone An open plan, fully fitted kitchen and dining room with 8 seater dining room table. There is a nespresso machine and a basic pantry available including oil, vinegar, salt & pepper, butter, various condiments & cereals and tea and coffee Outside, the wrap-around deck with family Weber Q BBQ, overlooks a large lawn, perfect for a game of cricket or a kick of the footy Additional amenities include a laundry with washing machine & dryer (detergent supplied), iron and ironing board, reverse cycle split systems throughout the house to keep you toasty on those cold winter nights and to keep you cool in summer. Quality linen and towels are provided and guests have wifi access. For kids, we have 2 highchairs, a baby bjorn portacot (and linen) and a baby bath. It's esteemed winemaking neighbours include: Maddens Rise, Oakridge, Tokar Estate, Medhurst, Coldstream Hills, Yarra Yering & Warramunda. Besides the French style bistro menu available on your doorstep at Dominique Portet, there are 2 other unique and delicious restaurants surrounding the property: the one chef's hat Oakridge Restaurant and Ezard at Levantine Hill. Other attractions in the neighbourhood include Rochford Wines; the Yarra Valley home of A Day on the Green, and the Coldstream Dairy. Cast the net slightly wider and you have easy access to everything the towns of Healesville and Yarra Glen have to offer, including many more fabulous restaurants, wineries and the famous Healesville Sanctuary. The house is located on Dominique Portet Winery on a corner block overlooking vines but also close to the Maroondah Hwy. The road can be noisy at night.
