A quiet and beautiful newly built contemporary studio, 3.5 miles from Stansted Airport (7 minutes taxi drive). The studio is totally self-contained & private, with high quality bed linen & towels provided. An option to leave your car whilst on holiday at a very reasonable rate. Studio is separate from our house & has its own keypad secured entrance so you can come & go as you please with an outside coffee / tea seating area. There's a village pub serving very good food & a village shop as well. We have a self contained studio with one kingsize bed and a designer sofa bed ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) with an en-suite showeroom with heated towel rails. There is desk and chair, and water, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It comes with dimmer lights, bed reading lights, 42 inch wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The building is separate from the house and there is a keypad lock on the door - when you book you will be given the code so can come and go as you like. You can arrive at any time - there is no need to check in. Many of our guest arrive from late flights and let themselves in at all hours. Perfect for pilots, holiday makers, business travellers bored with hotel rooms. It is positioned in an annex to our home built especially for a guestroom purpose giving you complete privacy, yet we are on hand should you need us. We provide good quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels. We can provide a basic breakfast - tea, coffee, cereal, milk, bread, fruit, spreads on request. We'll be available to meet and greet you and happy to help you in any way we can during your stay. We are a working family, with a new-born (maternity leave). So we are likely to be around and happy to help and advise, but we cannot guarantee to be there at all times. We will respect your privacy but we are on call if you need help, assistance or local information (we leave a welcome pack with all you need to the local amenities - coffee shops, pubs and restaurants - all a 5 minute from your accommodation. Check in time can be flexible. If you are flying out / in from Stansted airport depending on the time of your flight(s) there's a possibility of drop offs and pick ups at the airport for a small fee. The Studio is located in Essex, England, United Kingdom. Elsenham is a charming Essex village with many lovely walks through beautiful countryside, yet only 3.5 miles from Stansted airport and also conveniently located for rail and road links to Cambridge and London via M11 and mainline stations which are just minutes away. Stansted Mountfitchet is only 5 mins down the road from Elsenham with 4 pubs, 3 Indian Restaurants, 2 Brasseries and, numerous coffee cafes and take aways 3.5 miles to and from the airport 5 minute walk to the mainline train station – Elsenham 7 minute train journey to and from the airport By Taxi Stansted airport is just 7 minutes by car and a taxi transfer costs £12.00 with local taxi company Lawlor including the express set down barrier fee of £4.00. (Best booked in advance for early morning departures due to demand and to guarantee a booking). There is a fast rail service to London, buses and coaches to various destinations. By Bus There's a regular bus service MON-SAT which runs to Stansted airport and costs £1.50 from the bus stop 2 mins walk from the studio, the bus stop outside The Crown Pub, with connections to and from the Airport. SERVICE 7/7A STANSTED - BISHOP'S STORTFORD We can offer you a safe, off road place to leave your car whilst away and by separate arrangement we may be able to offer you a lift to/from the airport for a small additional fee depending on your flight times and our availability.
