Our beachfront cabins in Pahoia halfway between Katikati and Tauranga are simple cabins, true bach-styled simplicity with a few of the modern luxuries to make it easy to enjoy your break. 20 meters from your deck is the lovely white sandy inner harbour Pahoia Beach. The great thing about this beach is you are never faced with big waves, only gentle lapping at your feet. Bring your 4 legged family members, we have plenty of room. Go fishing off the front lawn & catch your dinner, walk a short distance along the beach to Pahoia Domain & catch dinner off the rock. Enjoy the privacy but knowing you are only 13 minutes drive to Tauranga’s CBD. - Outside BBQ with table and sun umbrella, outside lounge chairs - Children’s activities and rescued animals' sanctuary. A kid’s paradise! - Boating, fishing, swimming. We have kayaks you can borrow! - Mesmerizing sunsets at your doorstep. - Outside bath by the sea front which we can lit a fire under, with a cold shower as well. Sleeping 4 in total in 1 queen bed & 2 single (one is in the mezzanine), the perfect family or friends getaway. Very clean, very tranquil with some premium home comforts, but we like to call it 'Back to Basics' in a good old kiwi style bach. Guests are welcome to explore the whole property Own driveway to park outside. 45 seconds walk to the beach, you are welcome in the Birdhaven sanctuary, around the property walkway, over the two bridges to the turtles islands in the duck pond. Use of kayaks, SUP, windersurfer and dinghys at no charge (with lifejackets provided) I / we can interact with guests if they wish. We live on the property but if you want total privacy that is easily achieved as the property is huge. We also have another cabin which we let as a holiday rental. Pahoia Beach is an idyllic rural quiet area. Very safe. Outdoor pursuits: Swimming, kayaking, fishing, floundering, and beach walks... less than 1 min from your bed. We have kayaks, SUP, dinghys and windsurfer for you to use at no extra charge You can also bring your dogs, as long as they don't eat our rescued chickens and ducks, and turtles ;) Resident pets: Dogs, ducks, fellow deer, miniature horse, turtles and chickens, guinea fowls, doves. We are 7km from nearest shop so ideally a Car is needed or Bikes, public transport is not available to come to our place unfortunatelly. By car : 13min Tauranga Downtown, 25min Mt Maunganui, 1 hour Rotorua, 1 hour Hobbiton Safety is paramount to us & our cabins are only partially fenced therefore access to the beach is very easy being only a few meters away so children must be supervised at all times. Full Linen hire is available with notice at $75.00 Or free of charge if bringing own. We provide clean duvet covers, duvets, pillows, bathmat & tea towels you just need to pack sheets and pillow cases for 1 queen beds, 1 single bed and your own towels.
