Casa delle Camelie is ideal for a couple or a small family who want to enjoy a huge garden and a swimming pool all to themselves without having to rent villas that are too large and over budget. The house is part of an exclusive residential area of five villas and it is the one with the most privacy. It is at the end of a long path in lava stones where you can park your cars: On the right side you can access the pool area using stairs or walking through the garden. On the left side, following a cute little path in lava stones and fruit trees, you access the cottage and its veranda. Casa delle Camelie consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and a pretty wood stove and the other with two single beds), a cozy living room with an open kitchen and a fireplace, 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. Thanks to its thick walls (80 cm), the house keeps itself pleasantly cool in summer and warm in winter. The living has access to the terrace with a beautiful and very old Camellia tree which blooms into a pink cloud between February and April. From the terrace a stair (15 steps) leads to a veranda with a secondary kitchen ideal for outdoor eating. If you are looking forward to enjoy the Sicilian weather and the slow outdoor life style that it allows, Casa delle Camelie is the place of your dreams. In winter, the fireplace, the wood stove and the rustic furniture will complete the picture of a cosy and authentic holiday. The house is located just outside the village of Viscalori in Viagrande, a hilltop village of the Catania province, part of the Etna Park, characterised by a microclimate of cool summers and dry winters. The city of Catania with its superb fish-market is at only 10 km. The ski resort of the Etna (Rifugio Sapienza) is at 20 Km. Casa delle Camelie is strategically located at approximately 3 minutes from the Etna villages ring that facilitates traveling to the center of Catania and to all major highway connections leading, in turn, to all the fascinating Sicilian towns. The salt water swimming pool is open all year round and is for the exclusive use of guests. Exposed to the sun all day, its water always maintains a pleasant temperature. The swimming pool measures 12x8 meters, ranges from 1.20 to 3 meters deep and boasts a diving board, a lava stone solarium and a 30m2 changing room with toilet, microwave oven and a refrigerator to store your drinks.
