Gumleaves offers a retreat in a neat modern apartment off a private entrance, ensuite and shared laundry. Recently renovated, the new apartment now has a living room. There's a queen bedroom and option to sleep an extra guest by arrangement on a trundle in adjoining living room. Guests have their own private apartment in bottom level of the couple’s home. Wake up to the sounds of the local birdlife in the morning. Sit outside enjoying the scenic eucalypts and river background. Within walking distance is a beautiful bushland reserve with tracks to explore, leading to swimming spots at Leven River inlets. Basic cooking facilities are provided to use. Continental Breakfast is included. You will enjoy your own bedroom and living on the lower level of our home. Private ensuite with a kitchenette in shared laundry. Please note we will respect your privacy as much as possible. We are a friendly easy-going couple and will interact as much or as little as you like. While the laundry is shared we will respectfully endeavour to give you as much privacy as you need. We are situated in a quiet neighbourhood 5 minute drive to the town centre of Ulverstone which has plenty of café’s and a great shopping centre. Ulverstone is a scenic town, an ideal base to explore many of Tasmania’s iconic features: Cradle Mountain is 1½ hour, Sheffield the town of murals is 45minutes, the Stanley Nut and quaint township is 1 hour 20 minutes and Launceston is 1 ½ hour drive. Spirit of Tasmania terminal at Devonport is 20 minutes away. Pushbikes are available on request and Ulverstone Ulverstone is a perfect place to explore by bike with flat pathways along the rivers edge which leads to the town centre, parks and the Turners Beach Berry Patch for a slightly longer excursion. The guest room is at the bottom level of our home. Occasional noise travels from the top level but does not normally seem to be a problem to guests.
