Country style kitchen with Belfast sink, granite work surfaces and original sandstone floors and fire place. This delightful town cottage is located in one of the oldest areas of the popular market town of Cockermouth. Birth place of the poet William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy. 62 has been recently refurbished to a high standard with modern facilities and lots of original features included. First floor has a double bedroom with original stripped wood beam. 2nd bedroom has single bed ideal for a second person or 1 child. lovely 3 peice heritage bathroom suite with over the bath shower. Offering our guests a welcoming home from home experience. Our family own the adjoining property no. 60 which can be booked along side our place to accommodate a larger groups No outside space, there is a private yard to rear of property which does not belong to us - Although Guests do have access to a outhouse in the top corner of the yard, which contains a washing machine for visitors of 62. Guests are able to contact us at any time throughout their stay, by telephone or email. we live around the corner from 62 and are on hand should guests have any issues. There is a key safe at 62 guests will be informed of the code prior to arrival. 62 is within easy walking distance to the towns individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Only a short drive to the surrounding fells and lakes and the many tourist attractions the area has to offer. A welcome pack is also provided including Cereal, Milk and fruit juice.
