This stylish detached farmhouse is a delectable dose of modern rustic charm. Walk cycle ride to the mountains on your doorstep . Roam around the sprawling Beacons , 'Cwtch' up in front of the roaring fire Gaze the stars from the HOT TUB The most heart stopping views you've ever seen. The photos say it all !! We are not allowed to say but a couple of famous people have stayed with us recently near Abergavenny !! Look up Luxury Farmhouse Llangattock. Beautifully restored Welsh farmhouse ready to welcome lucky guests looking for a peaceful, luxurious and laid-back escape, maybe ! Gorgeous Hot tub too . Bring your family , your friends & one four - legged companion . It benefits from lots of space for socialising both inside and out. The front garden and large back courtyard garden all have breathtaking views. Gather around the fire pit & take in the panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons & dine al-fresco. Don’t forget the hot tub ! Cosy up in one of the sitting rooms, light the wood burner in the huge ingle nook fireplace, read a book or just relax with a glass of fizz. The larger sitting room gaze at the stunning views & dream. Watch a film, or listen to music on the Bose SoundDock & dance . Open the doors to the garden & listen to the wildlife . KITCHEN just wow- The kitchen is just heavenly, perfect spot for entertaining, (perfect whilst watching the cook). with appliances & space in abundance . Huge Island for prepping, two ovens, hob, combi microwave, dishwasher & large fridge all you need for the perfect meal. There's stunning views across the valley too. DINNING ROOM The fabulous dinning room is the ultimate space for dinner parties. Light the wood burner to make it extra cosy. SLEEPING There are three utterly beautiful slightly quirky bedrooms to choose from, each boasting luxury goose feather and down duvets & pillows, cashmere throws . Crisp 100% linen bed linen & the most comfortable beds you've ever slept in . Bedroom 1: This is a huge bedroom with king size bed. Bedroom 2: One king size bed & one double bed. Bedroom 3: One king size bed. Two of the bedrooms 1 & 2 are in the older part of the farmhouse, the other bedroom with king size bed is completely the other side of the farmhouse with its own spiral stair case ,with a shower room downstairs , so is very private from other bedrooms . BATHING Two shower rooms either end of the farmhouse, in addition in the courtyard garden set in a little detached stone outbuilding is an enormous marble freestanding bath for two, complete indulgence & perfect spot for bubbles, candles and your favourite book. Additional Info Please do let us know if you are bringing a dog. The lane leading to the property is narrow & steep but worth it when you arrive!! Please follow our detailed local directions as sat nav will not get you there . WI-FI, please be aware that this can be patchy due to the remote location. It is advisable if it snows to use a 4x4 in the winter months. We are normally available and live 45 minutes away. Llangattock is set in the Brecon Beacons National Park, outstanding walks, waterfalls cycling, horse riding & of course the Monmouthshire canal. Don't forget to visit the amazing Henrhyd waterfalls about 50 mins away . Crickhowell is three miles away a little town to stock up on local supplies, with independent stores butchers & pubs. Abergavenny 20 mins by car has a Waitrose, independent cinema and a food festival each September. You probably do need a car to make the best of your stay .The Welsh boarders are almost littered with Norman castles, Raglan, White Castle, Grosmont & Skenfrith. Monmouth town is very beautiful & has everything you would need. Hereford 45 mins houses the Mappa Mundi and is the nearest city with beautiful cathedral and pretty church street. You will need a car to make the most of your stay . There is a Taxi service locally. Railway station at Abergavenny 15 mins away . The hot tub unfortunately will not always be up to temperature on your first day sorry. For obvious reasons we have to change the water each stay & it takes a few hours to fill , then 14 hours to heat . This might not matter if its hot weather & you want to cool off , but might if its cool . The hot tub a Jacuzzi is an expensive item, this apparently is normal, sorry . Some of the doorways are low in places but ceilings are high . There are 2 stairs to the bedrooms which aren’t necessarily easy if you have mobility problems. Sorry The lanes from the main road to the Farmhouse are very steep & narrow , but will be worth it when you see the amazing views & you enter the house . You may need to consider what vehicle to use if it snows but whatever you do it will be amazing when you arrive !!
