2 Bedroom apartment short walk to Merewether Beach

My two bedroom, two bed apartment is light filled, comfortable and welcoming. It’s a real home, because it’s my home. You can walk to Dixon Park Beach, Bar Beach or Merewether Beach and Baths and drive to Newcastle CBD in less than 10 minutes. You can walk to restaurants, pubs and shops at The Junction. There are some stairs. Not suitable for children. You will arrive at an unassuming brick building of flats, but once you’ve walked up 4 flights of stairs and enter the apartment you will be happy to arrive at a light filled, modern apartment. My apartment has two bedrooms, one toilet/laundry room, one bathroom, kitchen/lounge room and balcony. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double bed. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. The open plan has a big kitchen island with two stools. It is fully furnished with all the essentials including pots, pans, coffee plunger, food processor, sandwich press, microwave and even an air popcorn maker! Bring your own popping corn. I have a smart TV with Netflix, Prime, etc. The bathroom has a shower over tub, a sink plus an additional vanity with its own stool and mirror, making it easy for two people to get ready at that same time. The apartment is filled with light and the balcony overlooks a park/oval. My balcony has 4 chairs, 1 side table and a large umbrella to shade the westerly sun and make it a lovely place to enjoy your coffee, beer or a wine. It also has an airer for your clothes. There is one undercover car spot available, however if I am overseas my car spot may not be not available. There is plenty of on-street parking if this is the case. The laundry room has a washer and a dryer. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and air conditioning in the lounge/kitchen. This is my home so it should have everything you need. Please be aware that my personal items are in the apartment. I will always provide space in the cupboards to hang clothes and some empty drawers in each bedroom. Send me an enquiry about long term bookings or if your dates aren’t available on my calendar as sometimes I can change my arrangements. Guests will have access to the entire apartment as their private holiday home. Ask me if my car park is available. I will communicate with guests mainly via email and text message. In most cases I will not meet you on arrival, but the keys will be provided in a lockbox on the door handle. I will provide the combination the day prior to your arrival. Throughout your stay you can ring or text me if you require anything. In addition to being an Airbnb host I am an experienced house and pet sitter. Check me out by searching the Petsitting Lady. Maybe I can care for your home and pets while you visit Newcastle. My apartment is located in the beautiful beach side suburb of Merewether. Perfect for surfers, swimmers or walkers and close to the CBD if you are in town for work. Dixon Park and Merewether Beaches and Ocean Baths are just a few blocks away - 3 blocks, about a 5 minute walk, depending on your pace. You can walk to the shops and restaurants at The Junction or to The Burwood Inn Pub and Bistro, The Mary Ellen Hotel, The Prince of Wales Hotel, The Beaches Hotel or Merewether Surfhouse. Lingard Private Hospital is also just a short block away. My apartment lands you deep in the beachside suburb of Merewether where you can live like a local. Shoes aren’t required and walking to the beach in just your swimmers is the norm. It also means you are in a residential building with neighbours where noise needs to be kept to a minimum and parties aren’t allowed. My apartment is best suited to couples or a couple of friends. There are busses stopping nearby making it easy and inexpensive to get into Newcastle West and East or further.
