Summary: This beautiful period property has been refurbished to a very high standard to offer bright and airy accommodation for guests visiting Glasgow. The property is located in the affluent Park neighbourhood and is perfectly located for easily reaching the city centre and the westend. There are some excellent bars, restaurants and cafes just 2 minutes walk from the front door. The beautiful Kelvingrove Park is 5 minutes walk away too. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host. The Space: The property has been very tastefully refurbished to offer modern and spacious accommodation while retaining some of the original period features. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite shower room. The second bedroom also has a king sized bed and there is a bathroom adjacent with shower and bath. The living area has beautiful high ceilings and is well equipped with comfortable sofas, dining space and high speed broadband. I have recently added a top of the range sound bar so guests can enjoy their favourite TV shows/films. The kitchen is open to the living are and is full equipped for cooking a good meal. The property also comes with a car park spot at the back of the property. This is quite a unique feature as all the surrounding area is metered parking. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link. The Neighborhood: The property is located in the affluent Park neighbourhood and is surrounded by great bars, restaurants and cafes. Woodlands Road is just 2 minutes walk and there are plenty of shops and bars to choose from. There is a Sainsburys grocery store in the petrol station on Woodlands Road that is well stocked for groceries. Getting Around: The property is well located for walking to the city centre and to the west end. It takes approx 20 minutes to the city centre and the same to Byres Road in the West End. There are bus stops on Woodlands road and from there it is 5 minutes into the city centre. Uber operates in Glasgow and a taxi to the city centre would only cost £3-4. The SSE Hydro is 5 minutes in a taxi or can be reached on foot in approximately 20-25 minutes. Glasgow International Airport is 20 minutes in a taxi and would cost around £20-25. Other Things to Note: Please be advised when selecting 1 or 2 guests we assume you will be using one bedroom. If you wish the second bedroom to be made up, it's not a problem, we just ask you selct 3 guests We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay Please note, check in and check out is not available on the 25th of December and the 1st of January. Interaction with Guests: We like to give people space to explore Glasgow. However we are available to answer any questions or to help with any issues.
