Situated in the heart of Federal in the Byron Bay hinterland, Rosebird Retreat is a generously appointed loft style home within walking distance of the vibrant but peaceful Federal village. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and capacity for 8 guests, the house offers an opportunity to relax amongst the trees or to explore hinterland or coast, 20 mins away.  Wrap-around decks, aircon, combustion fire, ceiling fans, internet, and a spa bath allow guests the chance to unwind in seclusion and style. Rosebird Retreat is the main house on our property. We live at the base of the property in a self-contained studio, completely separate located 100 mtrs away. Guests will enjoy full privacy and the well appointed kitchen, flowing wrap-around decks, loft style main room, en-suite master bedroom, spa bath, cosy slow combustion fire, reverse cycle aircon and ceiling fans throughout. Spacious and cool, the polished boards and ceiling fans offer a classic and cool country cottage feel on those balmy summer days the North Coast is renowned for. We provide high quality linen, bath and beach towels, Mukti organic bathroom products, Mayde organic teas and Moonshine Roasters coffee. Please note: we have recently updated our 3rd bedroom with the option of a super king bed or 2 x king single beds. 2 x quality trundle mattresses with legs elevating them into beds can be used for 2 x extra guests after 6 guests are accommodated in the bedrooms. A great option for family stays. Please note: we do not accept schoolies or bucks/hens parties The whole house is available for our guests to enjoy. We are situated 100 metres away in a completely seperate studio. Belinda enjoys meeting guests on check-in, and then leaving you to explore all the area and the house has to offer. Rosebird Retreat is a 2 min walk from the internationally renowned Doma Cafe, the Federal General Store, Moonshine Roasters Cafe, The Hills Emporium, Ruby and Frank Pottery Studio and the local skate park and playground. Guests will require the use of a car for transport. Rosebird Retreat is in the centre of the vibrant and peaceful Federal Village, which in turn is in the centre of the amazing Byron hinterland. As such, it is perfectly positioned for exploring: day trips offer stunning beaches, mesmerising waterfalls, delectable food trails, idyllic drives and Byron’s cosmopolitan nightlife all within a twenty-five minute drive.
