Located at Spencer Village a short 90 minute drive from Sydney and built in 1910 is this elegantly restored homestead experience. A must stay for all who love period architecture, river scenery, boating, fishing, hiking, farm style kitchen cooking with breathtaking entertaining areas or those simply looking to relax in the spa bath and watch the night stars. White House is owned by Lanopearl - Australian organic skin and body care. You’ll be 30 seconds away from the best of Spencer Village but away enough to enjoy privacy. Arrive via boat or to the ample parking onsite. Spencer has a General Store, a small take away, the public wharf, an outdoor bar and is surrounded by national parks. You can hire boats from Hawkesbury River Charter located in Spencer or hire Kayaks from Donna at Malaluka Caravan Park, both a short two minute walk away. There are two entry and exits for boats, with private storage available with Donna. You’ll enjoy the entire property including the beautifully manicured lawns and a private mooring - the only space off limits is the shed. It doubles as our laundry space. I or Robin or other locals will be around to offer you tips or help but - just text me any time . Spencer is a unique find - besides the obvious beauty of the area you’ll find interesting people from all walks of life. We recommend bringing own boat or vehicle, there isn’t much in terms of public transport. If you require a boat please ask me. Property is not entirely fenced and has bird life. We accept small dogs or small pets only. Small dogs can be kept near the pool table and we have an enclosed fence for them. If you have large dogs they are welcome however, must be kept inside on the balcony. There is wildlife around the White House and the main road is close with vehicles sometimes going above the speed limit.
