Meadow View Gite - This is a fully self-contained 2 bedroom holiday cottage with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom complete with access to free WiFi throughout. There is a large semi open plan area containing a well equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room as well as a comfortable lounge. The lounge has ample comfortable seating on 2 settees, an LCD TV with DVD and satellite for free view UK and French channels, and also a wood burning stove for those winter evenings. The Dining room section has a large antique pine dining table with ample room to seat 6 people in comfort with a matching antique pine dresser to match. The well equipped kitchen has all the items that you may need to prepare your meals and ensure a relaxing holiday. The airy and light master bedroom with double bed and understated floral decor, with beautiful views over the rolling Vienne countryside, also has plenty of storage within a large double wardrobe and also in the dressing table. The Twin bedroom also light and airy with a neutral decor scheme has two pine single beds, a large chest of drawers with mirror over, with pretty views out over the garden courtyard. There is a perfectly sized family shower room, with a large fitted shower cubicle which delivers piping hot water at mains pressure, a vanity sink unit complete with illuminated mirror over, also a low level WC. Outside there is an enclosed private garden with views over the meadow and on to the surrounding fields and mighty oaks that dot the landscape as well as a private patio area with table and seating for 4, a very pleasant place to sit with a glass of wine or have a relaxing barbecue and watch the sunset with views down towards our 1 acre fishing lake. For your convenience there is also access to a laundry room with a washing machine, we have a small farm shop with a some essentials available such as our home grown fruit and vegetables, free range eggs from our ducks and chickens, and many other items. As part of our complex of 2 self-contained holiday cottages, each has access to the Games Room, containing pool table, table tennis, dart board, table football, etc. Also there is an upstairs lounge area with 2 large settees, table and chairs with beautiful far reaching views over the lake. Then leading from the games room out through some French doors to a Large patio area with tables, chairs and sun loungers overlooking the 10 meter by 5 meter solar heated swimming pool, from this relaxing vantage point there are unrestricted views over meadows and the lake. The 1 acre fishing lake has several species of fish including Carp, Roach, Rudd and Perch, this is open to fish exclusively for our guests, with tackle available without charge for our guests to use and enjoy a relaxing days fishing, by our tranquil lake.
