A Great stay for Art & Culture Lovers, and also for Climbers and Nature Walkers with Caminito del Rey only 20 min drive from here or 12 min with The Train basically on your Doorstep. 35 min from Málaga and The Airport. Very Welcome ! Mike and Marina We are Normally here to Greet our Guests on Arrival, and introduce them to The Neighborhood, ( where to find Shops, Bars, or to Answer any Other questions etc ) We Live Upstairs from The Apartment, so if there is anything We can Help You with during Your Stay, Please don,t hesitate to Ask. The apartment is on the ground floor with access from the garden, completely self contained with high ceilings (4 meters high ) so it has a very open airy feel to it. The Apartment consists of 2 rooms.!!! In the Entrance Room you will find 2 Single Beds and a Toilet and Shower. In the Next room you will find a Double Bed, Dining area and the Kitchen and a Toilet and Shower. You can Park your Car just outside the Gate. The enclosed garden is perfect for Chill Out and Enjoying a Glass of Wine after a Busy day Sightseeing and the BBQ area and Splash pool make a setting for a perfect Holiday in this lovely Andalusian town. To Book the Jacuzzi, we need to know at least 2 days in advance of your arrival. The cost is €30/day , and you can Pay us through (Hidden by Airbnb) . There is also an Open Fire place to sit around and grill sausages over. We put Our Listing as No Smoking, and that just applies inside, you have a Big Garden to smoke in ... It is only 2 minutes walk to The Train station which takes You straight to Málaga Centro, Airport and the Costa Del Sol. Also To Ronda, El-Chorro and Caminito del Rey. In The Train Station you will also find a Tobacco Shop ( Estanco ), Mobile Refills, Stamps etc ) And at the Platform there is a bar with a lot of Seafood Tapas and Memorabilia of Áloras Proud Flamenco Tradition. Parking, Laundry, BBQ, Splash pool, Patio and garden, FREE WIFI . Note: There is an Other Apartment on the premises " Backpackers Delight " that needs access through the Garden to come to their Apartment and Private Garden. We are Usually at Home so we can Welcome you on Arrival. Marina can Offer you PAINTIG LESSONS if you are Interested. We can Put you in contact for Climbing, Paragliding, E Bikes Rental, Motorbike riding and Horse Riding , Yoga, Guitar Lessons, Massages, Reflexology, ...etc. We don' t say no to a beer and a Chat but we Also Leave you Totally Alone if you wish. If you Play the Guitar you are Welcome to Lend one of Ours ☺ We Speak: English, Spanish, Dutch, and Swedish. The House is situated in The Train Station of Álora, but within a Agriculture area, with Lemon Groves and the Rio Guadalhorce at the door step. Views from The Garden is the Old Morish Castle of Álora and The street has a special Historic value. Even if we are so Close to the Train Station, it is very Quiet inside and Relaxing. There are 2 Bars/Cafees/Restaurant within 3 min walk. Small shop for Essentials in the Station. City Center about a 15 min walk UP HILL !!! There are Buses Every Hour up to town. Cheap Taxis if needed for bigger shopping. Barriada del Puente is an Easy Walk , 10 min to heaps of Bars, Restaurants and Shops. Own Parking and only 1 min walk to the Local Train that takes you to Málaga Centro, Airport and Costa del Sol. Train also to Ronda and El-Chorro with the World Famous CAMINITO DEL REY ! The Train to El-Chorro Leaves Álora Train Station at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) h and arrives at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) h, Book your tickets to The Caminito accordingly if you dont have a Car. There are also several buses from Álora to El-Chorro, but time tables changes, please check Online. To Hire a Car at the Airport is the best way to see this Area as its Rural Spain, and you will need it if you want to Explore the Beautiful Countryside. If you are more into City Life, Málaga is a Wonderful Town, with Plenty of Shopping, Museums, Restaurants and Seafront and you can just hop on the Train outside the Apartment and you will come directly in to Málaga City Center in 35 min.
