Situated right beside the River Ogwen, with sheep grazing in the surrounding fields and views overlooking Snowdonia, Glanafon Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Clean, tidy and recently renovated to a high standard you'll be lucky to find a better presented cottage in the Ogwen Valley. Parking is available right beside the cottage. Conveniently located just off the high street with pubs, restaurants, takeaways and grocery stores all within a few minutes walk. Zipworld just 5 minutes away! If you do require any assistance I can come down and meet you with a bit of notice. Bethesda offers all the amenities you need for your stay and its right on your doorstep. From Takeaways to Tesco its all a short walk away. As for night life we have the amazing Neuadd Ogwen offering live music on a regular basis and a number of pubs nearby. Check out the Llangollen, good food and local beers. There are a number of footpaths nearby and a large park just over the road so you can easily walk the dog right from the door. For more adventurous walks the Mountains of the Ogwen Valley are 10 minutes drive away. The car parks for Snowdon are around 20 minutes drive. If you head in the other direction its not long before you meet the sea where you will find some of the best beaches in the UK, mostly 20 minutes drive. Be sure to visit Newborough and its famous Llandwyn Island.
