Those who appreciate the ambience of a quiet country haven at the end of a busy day will love staying at Sundance. Soak up the peace and quiet and tranquil rural views, have a drink on the balcony in the summer and watch the sun set, or enjoy the cosy fire and board games in the sitting room in winter. Guest have parking directly at the front door under a carport. Booking a taxi is the best way to get to the airport. There is very limited public transport on bus service available. There are dozens of wonderful things to see and do in and around Adelaide. Your host has much local knowlege to share, and will be happy guide you to any number of the fabulous local attractions around Adelaide and surrounds. South Australia is a big, truly beautiful and largely unspoilt place and your host would be proud to show some of it off! The world class mountain bike park is literally a stone's throw from Sundance and exciting National Events are held there every year. The top class Mount Lofty and Mount Osmond Golf Courses are located just a few minutes away as are many other attractions ~ Mount Lofty Summit and Restaurant, Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, the picturesque Piccadilly Valley, Cleland Wildlife Park, the beautiful hills villages of Stirling and Aldgate, Bridgewater, Hahndorf and "The Cedars" - home of Hans Heysen, State of the Art wineries, Warrawong Sanctuary (do a night walk and see platypus) Belair National Park, Carrick Hill Historic House - you could walk there, and many more lovely things to see and do close to home. A trip to the Barossa Valley and a visit to McLaren Vale Wine regions each involving beautiful scenic drives, are well worthwhile. Call in and have a look at some of the stunning beaches on the Fleurieu Peninsula while you're in the area, less than an hour's drive from Sundance. Day trips to Victor Harbour, Goolwa, Murray Bridge and Mannum, are highly recommended and quite do-able in a day. Please ask your host for other sight seeing suggestions!!
