Unique 2 floor appartment with luxurious amenities, next to the St Germain church and the charming Furstenberg Place, close to the Seine and the Louvre via the Pont des Arts, ideally located in a lively area, though a peaceful and quiet street Designed to enhance the volumes (4.80 m high ceilings), the apartment is spacious (120 square meters) and comfortable owing to its two bathrooms and the wooden light oak kitchen which provide all modern facilities. Brightness and clarity are the two elements that have guided its decoration. A « Couture » personnalized design, clean and pure lines caracterize this beautiful place. It is a black and white symphony , which I cheered up by hanging on the walls my father’s painting, a talented painter in the 60s. If you are fond of Le Corbusier style and appreciate a pure and clean design, you will love this place and enjoy a glass of French wine (preferably) at the end of the day after wandering around beautiful Paris. The building was built in the 30s. With its "Art Deco" facade, decorated with Celtic medallions, it stands out in this charming street one of the oldest in Paris. The lobby elegantly decorated with granite stone floors and functional common areas foreshadow the style of the apartment. Security is provided via a digital code at the entrance. A personalized key system enables access inside the building to the floors through the elevator or stairs. Most of the very famous Paris monuments are within walking distance of the apartment like Saint Sulpice and Saint Germain churches, lovely Furstenberg place with the Delacroix museum, where the great painter chose to settle, or Luxembourg Garden. For Le Louvre, simply cross the Seine via the Pont des Arts. Take advantage of the docks for taking long walks along the river, either left towards Musée d'Orsay, Eiffel Tower, Grand and Petit Palais, or right towards Place Dauphine, Palais of Justice, Conciergerie and Notre Dame. Raise your head, admire the bridges, the magnificent buildings and the Flower Market, bordering the Seine! Saint Germain des Prés is a cosmopolitan area, widely known for two decades.
