It is situated 2 minutes walk away from Singleton park and 15 minutes walk from Swansea Bay. There is a fantastic array of local amenities, such as shops, cafes and restaurants at the end of the road. Guests have access to the entire property and rear garden. Sketty is a beautiful area situated a mile and a half outside the centre of Swansea. Sketty Cross ( 2 minutes walk to the end of the road) houses many shops (Co-op, Tesco Express), delicious bakeries (Dilly’s, Christie’s), cafes (Square Peg), restaurants (Slice, Darios, Gilligan’s), a pub, many takeaways and shops. Singleton Park is on your doorstep, containing beautiful botanical gardens and woodland areas, which can be walked through to take you to Swansea Bay. This 8k stretch of beach runs from the centre of Swansea all the way to Mumbles- a quaint coastal village. This is well worth a visit to shop in local boutiques, grab a cocktail in a bar or dine at one of many beautiful eateries. Sketty is easily accessible by car or bus from the centre of Swansea. It is roughly a mile and a half from the city centre and just under 2 miles from the train station. Travelling to Mumbles (3 miles away) or Gower (4 miles away) couldn’t be easier.
