San Gimignano, better known as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages", is a unique, charming historical village in the very heart of Tuscany. Our Palazzo Becci is set on one of the main squares of San Gimignano, in the middle of the most fascinating medieval place in Tuscany. Built around one of the main San Gimignano Towers, the property is conserving the charm of a historic residence of XII century. The property has amazing ceilings, and it's a charming, magical, historic and thoughtfully-furnished apartment situated at the first floor of the historical palace. Gorgeous views from every window. The front rooms overlook “Piazza della Cisterna”, while from the bedrooms on the back you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. You can also enjoy (upon request) a typical Italian breakfast or an excellent Tuscan lunch at the restaurant bar in Piazza della Cisterna right under the house. Everything is at walking distance. From the dining room through an open staircase in wrought iron leads to the loft with two single beds. The kitchen is equipped with a standard oven, gas hob, small fridge and table for quick meals. The bathroom with shower can be accessed from both the “Tower” bedroom, and the kitchen. In front of the entrance hall is the second double bedroom “Canopy” whose name is due to the original wrought iron bed. The Canopy room is wide and bright, with a small private bathroom with shower. The third bedroom has a separate entrance from the rest of the apartment, located on the same floor, it is accessed from the balcony next to the main entrance door. The bedroom has a large arched window overlooking the square, ensuite bathroom with shower and a small but well equipped kitchen (fridge, induction hob, microwave oven). The room is characterized by a terracotta ceiling with original colors and wooden beams. Air Conditioning is also a feature of the house. 50 meters away is the Laundromat . 500 meters away is the rent-a-bike, motorbike, car. ===== ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION ===== The living room with sofa, armchairs and TV, is furnished with original antique furniture and has amazing vaulted ceiling with capitals. The double bedroom “TOWER” so called because it is on the first level of the tower which is also visible on the thickness of the walls. The dining room, which is accessed from the living room, also furnished with large table in solid wood, ceilings with wooden beams, reminds a medieval atmosphere.
