Welcome to Spirito Agricolo and our agriturismo Viticcio! We are a family-owned winery in La Morra, in the world's famous Barolo wine-making territory. Our agriturismo has four double rooms, each with private bathroom. During your stay you can enjoy our country breakfast, wine tour and tasting. The best way to reach our central location is by car. Please contact us directly at Spirito Agricolo if you're interested in booking more than one room. Our rooms are all equipped with a private bathroom and are furnished in a country charm style. The agriturismo property can be reached by car and is centrally located, at the foot of the town of La Morra, amongst some of Barolo's most famous vineyards. We offer breakfast as part of our room rate, and we can host you in the garden or the breakfast room for your wine tasting. Our guests can take a tour around the winery and the vineyards, and are welcome to experience our wine-making operations and of course, taste our wines. From the agriturismo, you can hike to the village of La Morra, to the famous cedar tree, or through some of Barolo's famed vineyards, and you are just a 2min drive or Vespa ride away from Barolo itself. Our strategic location means you can enjoy lunch and dinner at the excellent restaurants and trattorias of the Langhe, and tour day-by-day the beautiful villages and picturesque hillsides this region has to offer. You will have a private room and bathroom, shared spaces are the breakfast room and garden. We are available to welcome our guests on arrival. Check-in time is from 2pm to 8pm, but as we could be working in the vineyards, we do kindly ask guests to indicate their approximate arrival time so we can be sure we're available to welcome you. Free private parking is available on site. We offer a wine tour and tasting to all of our guests, and are happy to indicate some of the best walks to take through the vineyards. We are working farmers and so are happy to show guests some of our operations during your stay. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, and we're on hand to advise on the best restaurants, panoramic spots, truffle hunts, events and more in the area. All linen is provided and rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The family lives on site and is available for a friendly morning "buongiorno" or an evening chat about your day, and anything that you may need during your stay. We are centrally located to the Langhe and Barolo region, in the valley at the foot of the village of La Morra, amongst the vineyards. Access to the agriturismo is directly off the main road, we are a two-minute drive from Barolo, La Morra and Castiglione Falletto. The best way to reach us is by car and private parking onsite is available. Our central location is prime for easy access to the Barolo region, the beautiful hillsides, vineyards and castles that make this Unesco area world famous. We are 15 minutes from the town of Alba and its International White Truffle Fair, and to reach the Collisioni festival in Barolo, we are just a walk away. If you're interested in walking or cycling the Langhe, our agriturismo is a great spot from which to explore the hills, the vineyards, taste local wines and visit the charming little villages and castles of this area. For food and wine you are spoiled for choice with everything from Michelin-star restaurants, to trattorias, to local local pizzerias all within an easy 10-minute drive. Local taxi services and shuttle buses are available too. The best way to reach our agriturismo is by car. The area is wonderful for touring by car, hiring a Vespa or e-Bike or going walking. Local taxi services are available and a shuttle bus hop-on, hop-off service can take you along the main wine tasting route. We are not far from the town of Alba and its train station, the closest airports are Milan Malpensa and Turin, and if you fancy a stop on the Ligurian coast, we are only about a 50min drive away from Savona. As we are an operating winery and farm, please contact us before check-in to let us know your approximate arrival time, so we can be sure we're on hand to welcome you. The price excludes a 1.50€ per person per night local tourist tax.
