This newly renovated, elegant 2bedroom apartment has special charm and beauty. Its huge furnished terrace offers spectacular sea-views and plenty of space for alfresco dining, sunbathing and other activities. The flat has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and a living room-diner; it sleeps up to 5 people. The beach and nearest restaurant are only 20m away. This is a unique, charming, well-equipped holiday holiday home, ideal for a family, a group of friends or a couple. Free use of SU paddleboard Apt B5 is on the upper ground floor of the unique Portobello Apartments building. It has a private entrance via its huge terrace which offers unforgettable sea-views. There's plenty of space outside for sunbathing, dining, entertaining and for children playing. Some say that Bigova sunsets are the most romantic on the Adriatic coast - and they are best enjoyed from our terraces. Inside, the space is generous and fully equipped as a pleasant holiday home. It comprises a well furnished living room with a satellite TV and a large window overlooking the terrace and the bay. The living room marble floor is particularly lovely and the elevated, open - plan kitchen has contemporary look and is well equipped. There is a 3-seater, convertible sofa bed in the living room, which can be used as an additional double bed. The bathroom is also contemporary, with a large walk-in shower, sink, toilet and a closet. The double bedroom has brand new furniture - a king size bed, wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets and a writing desk. It overlooks the terrace and has a sea-view. The smaller, second bedroom has bunk beds and a wardrobe. The apartment is elegant, comfortable, well maintained and has a wonderful asset in its unusually large terrace. It's very close to the beach and restaurant but enjoys quiet and relaxed ambience. The rental fee includes the free use, for the duration of the stay, of a new SUP (Stand-up Paddle Board). On request (with a one-time preparation fee of 20 Euros paid to the property manager), a two-man inflatable kayak is also available. The equipment can only be used in Bigova Bay. Guests can access every part of the property and all public areas of the village. The nearest beach and bar/restaurant are only 20m away, the nearest shop 50m away. Acces to Bigova village: the apartment is 20min drive away from Tivat airport, and the same distance from the fascinating, historic Old Town Kotor. It takes about 40min to drive to Budva and visit its long, sandy beaches and vibrant night life. 2.5 hours drive from Podgorica and Dubrovnik airports We'll welcome you on arrival, show you around, answer any questions you may have, and check you out on your departure day. During your holiday, we're happy to assist at any time, if needed. Otherwise, we'll appreciate your privacy. Bigova is a quiet fishing village in winter, but in summer it becomes a cosmopolitan resort for those in the know. Slightly off the beaten track, it's Montenegrin best kept secret and a jewel known to those who seek to escape from frantic city life. You'll have an impression that time has slowed down in this beautiful village where the days are relaxed and you can really see the stars at night. Bigova is very near historic towns of Kotor and Cetinje; as well as night life hot-spots like Budva and Tivat. Long, sandy beaches of Budva Riviera are about 20min drive away. Bigova is friendly, green and tranquil. Local fishermen often sell their catch on the pier, so you can buy fresh wild fish some of the mornings, if you enjoy cooking. Some fishermen are happy to take guests on boat trips to explore pristine nearby coves, inlets and wild beaches. Lustica peninsula and other wild beaches are accessible on boat. If you don't like driving, a local bus will take you to Kotor, Tivat etc. Taxis are reasonably priced. We can organise your airport taxi transfers too and do some food shopping for you prior to your arrival, for a fee. Street parking is free in Bigova, and we have parking spaces behind the building, for our guests use. If you're interested in guided tours or adventure days outs, let us know. On arrival day we take a returnable 100euros 'damage deposit' in cash. This is returned in full on departure day, providing there has been no damage in the property during their stay. Local laws: it is a legal requirement in Montenegro for all guests to be registered within the first 24hours, and also to pay tourist ‘stay tax’. Do not worry about this, we will deal with this for you. The tax payable by guests is 1 euro per person per day, for people over 18 years of age. It is 50 cents for young people between the ages of 12 – 18. Children under the age of 12 do not pay. We deal with this procedure for our guests, so they don't have to worry about it.
