Apartment near Cerknica Lake

Our house is located in a beautiful town Cerknica, only 1 km away from Cerknica lake. The location of the house is great for short walks or long hiking trails around good deal of the region's karst phenomena, including the intermittent Lake Cerknica, forests, meadows, wetlands, caves (including Križna Cave) and Rakov Škocjan gorge. We are super excited about our new guests. We will try to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. Welcome! We have a lot of kid stuff because we have a small child, so I feel like it’s a really good place for families who come and stay. As someone with a small child, it’s really nice to travel and know everything you need will be there. The apartment is ful of paintings from renowned local artist. Access to the apartment it is very easy since the apartment is on the ground level and the parking space is just next to the entrance. Our family lives in same house in seperate apartment so we can allways advise you about great places in Slovenia and drink a coup off coffe with you. Most of the time there is at least one of us at home. An often overlooked region, mysterious and mystical part of Slovenia, called Notranjska is located on the south-western part of the country. Notranjska Regional Park is covered with nature's incredible Karst creations and beauty and one could think it's playing tricks! This region is a playground for active adventurers, who love to explore off the beaten path and have a vivid imagination to go along. From the mountains where you might encounter a witch or a bear, across the lake, which is sometimes also a dry field, through a valley with crushing scenery to a beautiful castle hidden in the rocks. If you want to get away from the noise of the industrialized world and find refuge in unspoiled nature, amongst trees and by clear waters, in the peace and quiet of the underworld; if you’re yearning to hear bird song, and wish to remember the sound of croaking frogs; if you’ve never skated on endless icy planes; if you want to see where birds make their nests; if you wish to relax, feel your spirits lifted and your strengths renewed, come to Notranjska. We have made all necessary precautions in accordance with National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia in order to make your stay safe and comfortable.
