Being part of the Romanesque Route, besides knowing a typical rural village and traditional Portuguese, can not fail to taste cheeses and area of typical sausages! The bravest may even venture into the famous tracks "road off" Ordins! Beside the house we grow a huge variety of fruit trees and vegetables. As for vegetables, some still on the ground, you can reap the products directly from the land and have an unforgettable experience, eating extracted products of the land for yourselve. In our "charming house", the garden is filled with flowers. In addition to long walks or to explore (or "discover") the flora and fauna of the village, you can visit the pictures and churches of the "Roman Road". You reveal the secrets of gastronomy and culture of a typical rural village in Portugal! For the more adventurous, you can venture on famous tracks "outside the box" of Ordins. It's important to have a car !! This house is from now on an innovative solution for many families who want to spend a few quiet days in the countryside , enjoying a saltwater pool and all the atmosphere of a typical Portuguese village. At the same time it is possible to spend a few days in a new apartment that we have just renovated, located next to the ocean, in Foz do Douro, city of Porto. The new apartment is located within a 10 minute (public) bus ride from the city center and a 10 minute walk from the beach. It is the best of both worlds! With 4 bedrooms , the apartment can house a maximum of 6 people. For the winter months or on very cold days of spring and autumn, to turn on the central heating we will have an additional daily fee of € 20 per day. On check-in day guests should specify if they want the heating on.
