A comfortable double bedroom in a detached bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac in Magor, which is near a friendly village square with a post office, Co op, coffee shops, pubs and the renowned Mango House Indian restaurant. It is also close to Magor services and the M4 motorway, with easy access to Newport, Cardiff and Bristol. Owner lives at the property, so all amenities are shared. Spotlessly clean with car parking space on drive. A warm welcome awaits you and continental breakfast is included. The bungalow consists of 2 double bedrooms and a study, a bathroom with bath and shower over, kitchen and lounge. It has a pleasant, secluded garden and a covered sitting area. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water! Apart from our double bedroom and the study, guests are welcome to use any of the facilities in the bungalow. We are usually available during your stay. We will leave you in peace or we are happy to chat to you, whichever you prefer. Please ask. Very quiet, friendly neighbourhood. In Magor square, there is a beautiful medieval church and historical ruins, a post office, chemist, charity shop, several hair and beauty salons, 2 pubs which serve meals, 2 cafes, a Co op convenience store (with a cash point facility), Indian, Chinese, fish and chips and pizza takeaways and an excellent Indian restaurant. It is very close to Magor Marsh nature reserve which is a small wildlife place for those seeking peace and tranquility. For those who enjoy cycling, there are very quiet roads which incorporate the National cycle network. You may leave your bicycle safely locked in my shed during your stay. The Celtic Manor Resort offering three golf courses, including the 2010 Ryder cup course is about 6 miles away. It also offers many restaurants and 5* spa days. St. Pierre golf course is about the same distance away. Brooms Horse riding centre is about 4 miles away. Visitors may also enjoy the historic castles of Caldicot, Raglan and Chepstow to name but three. The impressive Tintern Abbey is located in the beautiful Wye Valley. The Black Mountains, and Brecon Beacons are areas of outstanding natural beauty to explore. There are plenty of bus stops to take you to Newport, Cardiff and Bristol. Severn Tunnel Junction is the nearest train station which will take you to central stations with links to all over the UK. The City of Newport is about 15 mins drive and has the Friars walk shopping centre, restaurants, cinema and theatre. We have a single drive which can take 3 cars. The other side of my drive belongs to my neighbour. Please ensure you park on my side, which is next to my bungalow. We also have a securely locked outdoor shed should you need to store a bicycle overnight. Thank you.
