La Grange - a converted barn with pool
La Grange is a two-bedroomed converted barn/bread oven, set in a small hamlet close to the beautiful river Viaur with access to a large outdoor swimming pool (open from end of May to begInning of October) and garden. The light, airy sitting room is accessed through the French door at the front of the property and is formed in part from the original bread oven. There are two steps leading up to a well equipped kitchen/dining area. The downstairs shower-room is fitted with a walk-in shower, washbasin and WC. Stairs lead from the spacious hallway up to the two bedrooms - the double, which has a lovely view from its window, and a twin. There is a covered patio which is equipped with a barbecue and shaded dining area. The secure pool area is accessed via the garden pathway using a key code which will be provided on arrival. There is free parking on site for guests and shared access to the secure pool and garden with our second gite next door (sleeps 6). There is also a selection of garden furniture and games for your enjoyment. We are on hand to offer advice and help whenever needed. Situated in a small rural hamlet 7 kilometres from our nearest main village, Mirandol Bourgnounac, which provides all the essential amenities including bar, restaurant, butchers, bakers, pharmacy, groceries, bank, doctor, fuel garage and EV charging point. We are so fortunate to be situated in an area of great natural beauty and have a variety of walking and cycling routes on our doorstep. There is no public transport outside of Mirandol B, therefore your own transport is essential. We live on site in the old converted farmhouse with our dog Mossy, and retain a small section of the garden for personal use. Mossy is generally not in the garden unaccompanied. La Grange can also be rented out with its neighbouring gîte, Les Châtaignes, to accommodate up to 10 people offering private use of the swimming pool (10 x 5 metres).
