Amazing view and space in architect designed home

We love the peace and tranquility of our home – and we think you will too. At special times in the year we have decided to let out the whole of our house. If you want to bring together your family and friends for a fabulous gathering– just outside Hobart , Tasmania, in a place with incredible views and a multitude of comfy spaces to relax in, then this is the place for you. This light filled architect designed house is our home and is nearly 80 m long and can sleep 10 people comfortably. The master bedroom has an incredible ensuite bathroom with a sunken spa bath overlooking the serene landscape across the Tasman Peninsular. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, while the third and fourth bedrooms have pairs of king-size singles that can be pushed together to make super king size. In addition there is a large comfortable library with a sofa bed. There are three large living rooms, a large central dining room (with a table for at least 10) and as well as a fully fitted kitchen. The kitchen has everything you will need including a good coffee machine. There is also an additional kitchen/laundry at the other end of the house. The big living room has stunning views across the water to one side and to the other an enormous deck with one or two 6x3m marquees (summer only) to provide shade and atmosphere. It also has a piano for the musicians amongst us. There is NBN Wi-Fi throughout the house and airplay to multiple sets of speakers. The house is a 10 minute walk down to the shore of Pipe Clay Lagoon and only a few minutes drive is to various beautiful and usually empty beaches. There are ample opportunities for sailing, fishing and water sports nearby and Clifton Beach, a patrolled surf beach, is within a five-minute drive. Our home is ideal for multiple generations of families who want to enjoy time together in a relaxed and peaceful environment. The views from the windows and through the glass roofs are constantly changing, day and night. There is an upstairs writers space with a very special view of its own. This house is full of art and has a fabulous creative vibe that generates a feeling of relaxation and peace amazingly quickly. The house is also negotiable for smaller groups on request - with an adjusted nightly rate. Guests have full access to the whole house, decks and marquees as well as the 5 acres of land. The house can be temporarily divided into two by pulling across a sliding door in the middle of that – should you wish to have some time apart as two or more families. There is ample parking for multiple cars including a carport for two cars. We have one room that we lock off for our special items. There is plenty of outdoor furniture available and a high quality barbecue available. We are flexible about check-in/outs and dates too.- we are looking for one rental across the week of Easter - once you get settled here, you won't want to leave! We will have a neighbour available to help out with anything you need and we can organise a daily cleaning service at extra cost. This house provides a good base to explore beautiful southern Tasmania and the Tasman Peninsula. There are a whole host of beaches and walks that will blow you away within minutes' drive. The area is excellent for swimming, walking and watersports. The nearby town of Lauderdale has two fantastic delicatessen/IGAs and several café and restaurant options as well as a bottle shop. While you are here you should visit the world-famous Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) – about 35 minutes away and enjoy the city of Hobart’s restaurants, markets and arts scene. The famous Port Arthur, the Huon Valley, the Three Capes walk and Freycinet are all within easy reach. You will need to have a car here but once you get here you will just want to hang out and relax on the decks! There are buses into Hobart and its a nice area to cycle around! We have plenty of space for parking. You can walk to the lagoon in about 10 minutes and Clifton beach in about 40 minutes. This is our home and so we are keen to ensure that we let the house to people who will respect and enjoy the space.
