The Pondominium™

Welcome to our Pondominium™ It's a cozy tiny cabin, very private but close to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, water falls, Lake Superior, Iron Belle bike/hike trail, Black River Scenic Byway, the Porkies and more! Includes a private driveway, wood fired sauna, shower, microwave, hotplate, k-cup coffee, toaster oven, outdoor gas grill, sleeping loft + sleeper sofa in common area. Located 1 mile off U.S. 2. READ “Other things to note”section about ladder, bathroom, & liability. Everyone that sees or stays at our Pondominium™ loves it! It's very cozy, clean and private, yet close to everything. We have a walking path around the pond so check out the aquatic life! e have a snow shoe trail on back of our Pondo. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Please be careful in & around the water, sauna & pond as we would be heartbroken if you were injured during your stay with us. Guests must stay near the Pondominium and the pond area. We know this area well and can provide advice on things to do such as shopping, dining, hiking, biking, skiing, snow shoeing, waterfalls, places to visit, places to eat etc. We live on the same property in a separate apartment which is appx 200' from the Pondominium. There is a thick buffer of trees separating the two buildings making it private. Rural setting but only one mile to Burger King, Subway, Breakwater restaurant, Don & GG's pub/restaurant, Super One grocery, Walmart, & Dunham's Sports. The Iron Belle bike/hike trail that links Bessemer, Ironwood & Hurley WI is one mile away. Our property is lush and green in the summer, has beautiful autumn colors on the hills behind the pond in the fall and loads of snow in the winter. We are close to downhill ski areas including Mt Zion, Powderhorn, Blackjack, Indianhead, & Whitecap. Cross county areas include Miners Memorial Trails & ABR. Other things to note No diving in the pond please. No soap products or diving in the pond please. Drive, walk, bike plus Twin City Cab is available in Ironwood, call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) 1) Not recommended for young children or older adults because of a steep ladder to the sleeping loft. 2)Supervision must be provided for very young children around the Pondominium™ area. 3) Our place is recommended for silent sport types. No ATV's or snowmobiles please. 4) This is not a party location, quiet time between 10pm and 8am please. 5) We have no indoor toilet. We do have a clean, pleasant smelling outhouse located 50' from the cabin with electricity & artwork. 6) We have hot water, a kitchen sink, and a shower in the sauna but are limited by a 5 gallon electric hot water heater. 7) No soap products or diving in the pond please. 8) A reasonable amount of sauna and campfire wood will be provided. 9) Liability Waiver: You understand that swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way if a person has health risks, or if a person camps, swims, rock climbs and uses the property or lake in any way while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, using the sauna and the use of the pond or property in any way. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.
