Beautiful self contained studio, adjacent to the main house, with its own private entrance and large deck located 8 minutes drive from vibrant Mullumbimby. Set on 2 acres of amazing gardens, expansive views and watch the lighthouse from your bed at night. The property is located on a private road, which is a lush little area just outside mullum that winds up to the surrounding escarpment. The views are magnificent - both the hinterland and overlooking Cape Byron. This is the place for you if you are after a tranquil little spot with lush surroundings and a relaxing nourishing stay. Quality bed linen, Egyptian towels and local organic/spray free produce from the abundant garden for you to enjoy The cottage is self contained , but is adjacent to the main house. It has large decks that are covered in grape vines, a spacious lounge, bedroom and separate kitchen. My partner and I live in the main house with my son who is 10 and our two dachshunds. Your privacy is respected and most of the time we will be at work or out and about. Enjoy the local area with great cafes, markets and live music, and then sit out on the deck at night whilst watching the beam of the lighthouse. Winter nights are spectacular- under the star filled sky, with cosy blankets to keep you warm. The cottage is fully equipped, with microwave, kettle, toaster, hot plate, a selection of food provisions, hairdryer, iron, desk, access to the washing machine. Anything else you require just ask. The cottage is spacious so I am happy to accomodate children and will make up a single bed in the lounge area. Dogs are welcome and other small pets will be considered. Please note there is a rocky stone path and some steps up to the studio, if mobility is an issue for you. The studio has no TV, but does have wifi and a beautiful large balcony and Balinese daybed to chill out on with a glass of wine and rediscover the art of conversation:) Location is perfect, seclusion and gorgeous surroundings- yet everything within easy reach. Mullumbimby town is 8 mins away, 20 mins to Byron Bay, 10-15 minutes to the festival sites and approx 45 to the Gold Coast. Full use of the cottage, own entrance and decks. I can meet you or keys can be left- check in is flexible Happy to help if required, otherwise your privacy is respected. Great cafes, funky farmers market, gorgeous brunswick heads beach just 10 mins away. Easy access to Byron without the hussle and bustle. Mullumbimby it's self is a lovely little alternative town- it has a chilled laid back vibe- and everything you need for a great stay. The Friday farmers market, great cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, bottle shops, yoga, the kiva spa- (a Balinese garden spa) and an outdoor Olympic swimming pool.
