Our unit is 2 bedroom, open, spacious and convenient. Overlooks the drive past road to Lake Burley Griffin from a large deck area which is right outside your room. You have your own bathroom and share our kitchen/lounge area. Our place is a relaxed open-plan area with a large deck overlooking the lake. We hope that our guests will feel comfortable and at home while they are here. And make use of the space. Or if you prefer to be on your own that is ok too. Access is via a secure entrance with intercom to unit. We will give you a key to the entrance and also our apartment while you are here. We are in and out throughout the day and night and quite relaxed about sharing our space. The apartment is walking distance to the National Gallery of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, National Library, Parliament House, Sunday Bus Depot Markets , the New Kingston Foreshore and a 40 minute stroll around the lake to the city. Kingston shopping centre is also a 7 minute walk with a number of good breakfast and coffee spots.There is a cafe/coffee/breakfast about 2 minutes walk called Little Bird plus Asian & Indian Restaurant, local foodshop, Bar etc. Bus transport is very close and UBER is in Canberra. There are many places to hire bicycles and bicycle paths are excellent. You can also take a boat trip on the lake. Walking is very relaxing. Our neighbors are mostly owner occupiers We are the only airbnb in our block.
