The cottage is in the heart of the beautiful Port Sunlight on the Wirral. It is ideally located for exploring this stunning historic village as well as the Wirral peninsula, Cheshire and Merseyside. A few steps away is the Port Sunlight train station with direct trains to Liverpool and Chester leaving every few minutes We are sure you will enjoy staying here. This Grade 2 listed home, built in 1894, is ideally located for exploring this stunning historic village including the museum, tearooms and Lady Lever art gallery. Our closest features are the Gladstone theatre, The Lyceum and bridge and The Dell park which can be seen from the property. Further afield there are many Wirral attractions to enjoy and all are very accessible by public transport as well as by car. The house is a 1 minute walk from the nearest station (Port Sunlight), with very regular trains to both Liverpool (20 minutes) and Chester (25 minutes). There are many beautiful countryside and coastal local walks including our favourite - along the Wirral way. Accommodation - The end terraced house is refurbished to a high standard and we are positive that you will find everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Sleeping - There are 2 bedrooms with space to sleep 4. The master bedroom is a spacious, bright room with kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a double bed. A travel cot is available at the house. Bathrooms - Both the family bathroom and en-suite are bright and clean. The main bathroom has a walk in shower and free-standing bath. Entertainment – 42" TV and fibre optic broadband. Lounge area - plenty of comfy sofa space, parquet flooring. Kitchen – very well equipped with usual equipment and appliances including electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is a dining area with room for up to 6 people. Laundry - In the converted outhouse, there is a separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside space - there is a paved garden area with plants and shrubs, there is also a further toilet in the converted outhouse. Parking - there is free roadside parking near the house. There is a free comunal car park directly behind the house. Local amenities - local shops, a supermarket, take away restaurants and cafes are a short walk away. Larger shops, cinema and bowling alley are around 8 minutes away by car. We can give you lots of information about the local area if required - please just ask! Information and leaflets will also be available in the property for you to peruse. Port Sunlight is a historic model garden village created by Lord William Hesketh Lever for his factory workers. Founded in 1888, it consists of 900 Grade II listed buildings and is a conservation area. Each block was designed by a different architect. Every home is unique. The house is an 8 minute drive from the M53. There is plenty of free roadside parking. The house is a 1 minute walk from the nearest train station (Port Sunlight), with very regular trains to both Liverpool (20 minutes) and Chester (25 minutes). Ticket prices are very reasonable and the trains are reliable. As well as the features of Port sunlight Village itself, there are many attractions in Wirral and Cheshire, including Cheshire Oaks for shopping (18 minute drive) and Chester zoo (23 minute drive).
