A secluded cabin amongst the rolling hills of the Barrington Wilderness Estate, adjoining Chichester Dam. Phone number provided upon booking confirmation. Enjoy a swim in the pool in the warmer months or a hit of tennis in the recreation area which also offer bathroom facilities. Walk to Chichester Dam or take a 15 minute drive into the township of Dungog. The main street offers a plethora of cafes, gift shops and specialty stores as well as an IGA. If you're a keen bicycle rider, The Dungog Common is 650 acres of pristine land on the western edge of the township. The Common has over 22km of single track as well as a purpose-built fun track and 2.2km of groomed flow track. Because of the abundance of wildlife, including wallabies, numerous bird species, echidnas, possums and various other natives, no pets are allowed on the estate or in the cabin. Barrington Wilderness Estate is 85 hectares adjoining Barrington Tops National Park, with walking tracks, roads and bushland for you to discover the beauty of this area. Although this studio guesthouse is perfect for those romantic getaways, we’re also big believers in family time and will happily accomodate your little ones. We have a porta-cot and portable high chair (up to 11kg), available on request and a single fold up floor mattress. There is no charge for children under 13 years of age. Although Children are welcome to stay, please be mindful of fire safety and your little ones as there are no safety screens for the fireplaces. The recreation area is ideal for families but please be mindful of surrounding lagoons. Children must be supervised at all times. You will be welcomed by the incredible wildlife during your stay, but please do not feed the animals. They have plenty of their own natural food in the surrounding bush.
