Set in a quiet countryside location it is the perfect home away from home. Ideal retreat for couples, solo adventurers & business travellers. A welcome breakfast basket is provided in the cottage on arrival (croissants, eggs, bread, milk and juice). Welcome to laid back luxury in the countryside! Garden Cottage at Cromhall Farm is a newly renovated boutique residence, which has been converted into a calm, modern, spacious and elegant cottage in beautiful Wiltshire. Conveniently located from the M4 (Junction 17) in the Cotswolds, Garden Cottage has a cosy bedroom, with luxurious King Size bed fitted with Egyptian Cotton linen. The bathroom consists of an indulgent shower, complemented with fluffy white towels. Garden Cottage is entirely separate from the main house at Cromhall Farm, with adjacent parking. It looks out onto pretty view of our garden which in the spring has blossoming pear and apple trees, as well as a productive vegetable patch The kitchen/sitting area is an open plan space allowing for a comfortable, light and airy hideaway! There is new kitchen complete with a fridge freezer, an electric oven with hob, dishwasher, sink, kettle, toaster, coffee pot, teapot as well as a Nespresso machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need to prepare your own meals. Just let us know if there is anything missing which you feel may be useful. The living area is flooded with light through the glass front window. This comfortable space has a snug sofa (which also converts to a sofa bed if needed!) and an armchair to enjoy the sunlight, read or enjoy a delicious freshly made coffee. The cottage has been fitted with low energy electric radiators to keep you extra warm as the temperature dips. There is also a heated towel rail in the bathroom. There is a contemporary dining table with 3 dining chairs in the kitchen. There is also an outdoor seating area where you may enjoy an evening drink watching the sunset. There is plenty of information, magazines and guides to assist you plan your stay with us. Please just ask if there is any other information we can assist you with, or perhaps some inspiration to plan your perfect day. Garden Cottage is a separate residence from the main farm house with parking out the front, you are able to therefore come and go as you wish. You are most welcome to walk up the track of our farm, admire the horses and see what other wildlife you may spot (deer, hare, fox, pheasant as well as an abundance of birds!) A welcome breakfast basket is provided in the cottage on arrival - croissants, bread, eggs, tea, coffee, orange juice and milk. Garden Cottage is a self-contained cottage, separate from the main farmhouse, you therefore have the entire cottage all to yourself to relax and leave all your worries behind. There is ample parking and pretty views looking out onto the garden. Check-in is typically form 4pm, however please do let us know if you would like to arrive earlier and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please do also let us know if you are going to be much later than 8pm!! Check-out is 10am. Once again, just let us know if you would like a later check-out and we will be as flexible as we can to help you. The front entrance of the cottage consists of one step up into the cottage. At the rear access of the cottage, there are two steps down leading to the outdoor earing area. There is also one internal step down into the bedroom. The kitchen, living area and bathroom are all open-plan living with level access and ample circulation space. The parking area is gravel, with three steps leading doen to the front entrance of Garden Cottage. The best effort will also be made to be at Garden Cottage to greet you when you arrive. Please however do bear in mind that I have 2 little children and despite making the greatest of efforts to assist you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, please be aware that I also have commitments - (school pick-ups, bath-time etc)! Garden Cottage is entirely all yours during your stay at Cromhall Farm, giving you privacy and freedom to have the perfect getaway in the glorious Cotswolds. If I am not on site I will of course be only a phone call away, and only too happy to help. Garden Cottage is located on our family farm - Cromhall Farm which dates back to the 16th century. It is located in the quiet hamlet of Easton Piercy, along a beautiful country lane. Despite being a working farm we have no livestock here so your early morning lie-in will not be disturbed! Being located in the countryside means we quite often have some beautiful wildlife on our doorstep including munt-jack, pheasants, hare, deer and owls. Our closest village is Yatton Keynall which has well stocked village shop and post-office. A short drive (or cycle!) away there are the pretty Cotswold villages of Grittleton, Castle Combe, Biddestone and Ford which all offer great place to have a stroll and also local pubs. The closest supermarkets are located in Chippenham which is only a 5 minute drive away. We are more than happy to give you more details of these if needed. If you wish to order an online grocery-shop before you arrive we are happy to help co-ordinate the delivery for you so the cottage is well stocked for your arrival. There is so much on your doorstep to see and do. Bristol is a short drive down the M4, and the World Heritage City of Bath only a 25 minute drive away which is bursting with history, architecture, restaurants, shopping and culture. The Royal Crescent, The Jane Austen Museum, the Roman Baths, Bath Racecourse, watch Bath Rugby play in their home city, the Circus, Pultney Bridge, or take part in one of the many tours which take place across this vibrant Georgian city. Castle Combe is a 5 minute drive away and certainly worth a visit. This quintessential English village has been the back-drop to many films. It is so charming! Bring your National Trust membership cards - Lacock Abbey, Avebury, Dyrham Park, Great Chalfield Manor, Westwood Manor, Prior Park and Bath Assembly Rooms. Spoilt for choice. Where to start?! Need a relaxing spa day? You are surrounded by first class venues including Thermae Bath Spa, Whatley Manor, Lucknam Park, Bowood Spa Hotel and Calcot Spa. Some fresh air and a walk amongst some of the world's most beautiful trees, Westonbirt Arboretum is not to be missed. Cycle the canal towpath from Bradford on Avon which offer traffic free easy cycling, with many pubs along the way a well deserved break. There is also the Bristol & Bath Railway Path, a 13 mile path open to walkers and cyclists which is a wonderful way to see some beautiful countryside. If you are a golf enthusiast then The Manor House Golf Club in Castle Combe has a serious reputation. There is also the Bowood Gold Club and also Kingsdown Golf Club. Having your own car transport is highly recommended given the location of Cromhall Farm (slightly off the beaten track!). Chippenham Railway Station is approximately 5 miles away. Bath Railway Station is 15 miles away. Taxi services are available, we can provide you with contact numbers of local firms if you need them. A bus routes run between Chippenham Station and Castle Combe, via Yatton Keynall which is about 1.5 miles away from Cromhall Farm. Cycling is a great way to get around with the Wiltshire Cycleway passing through Yatton Keynall. We are happy to provide secure storage of bikes if needed. We wanted to give you the heads up about your upcoming stay with us here at Cromhall Farm in light of the current Coronavirus situation. Our cottages are separate, with their own private entrance. They are totally self-contained, with are no shared facilities and so you can have your own quiet break without any risk of coming into contact with anyone. We will continue to work hard to ensure all our cottages are kept disinfected and scrupulously clean. In between guests, on top of our usual high level of cleaning we will be placing a greater emphasis on all frequently touched surfaces. We are happy to help co-ordinate an online grocery shop, recommend gorgeous countryside walks, recommend road trips or There is a lot of uncertainty circulating, however we will endeavour to ensure you have a perfect stay at Cromhall Farm.
