Inside, the ground floor duplex features an open plan Living room with 4 easy chairs, a dining area for 4 and French doors with access leading out to the private garden. A second sitting room with flat screen TV, an ambient fireplace and garden access provides a lovely space to also kick back and relax. The separate Kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering stays; with an electric kettle, microwave, cooker hob, oven and dishwasher provided. Family groups of 5 will easily enjoy a good night’s sleep, with 2 Double bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom with a single bed featuring. The home is also well equipped for those busy mornings; with a separate service WC featuring alongside two full family bathrooms. Larger, flexible group stays can also be accommodated buy renting ‘Riva del Caolino’, ‘Il Faggio’, ‘Rododendro Rosso’ and ‘Casa Azalea’, which also feature in the same holiday complex. Outside, the child-friendly resort offers a wealth of activities to complement your stay, including a large park with kids play area, an outdoor pool with showers and a lifeguard , sun loungers and pleasant shady areas. Clay tennis courts also offer the perfect opportunity for you to practise your serve (for a small charge), whilst just 800 metres away from the resort, a lakeside promenade leads to a fitness centre with gym, spa and Olympic size swimming pool. The local lake beach, trekking trails, resort shops, ‘gelatarias’, supermarkets and local historical gems of Ispra provide everything guests could wish for in an enjoyable break. The historical village setting of Ispra is truly picturesque; with noble villa gardens and ancient ruins surrounding the lakefront resort. Home to authentic Italian restaurants, shops and well-stocked supermarkets, Ispra truly lets you wine and dine your holiday away. The famous Monastery of ‘Santa Caterina del Sasso’ is just 13 minutes’ drive away, whilst the popular resort of Laveno is 16 minutes’ drive away. From the lovely golden triangle town of Laveno, a ferry service runs to Stresa and Verbania; for a lovely opportunity to enjoy a day of sightseeing. Lake Maggiore is a very family-friendly destination too; with Safari and Wildlife Parks, the Lake Maggiore Adventure Park and the Ondaland high-tech water park to enjoy, alongside wind surfing, wakeboarding, sailing, diving, tennis, horse riding, golf and Italian Alp Skiing. Lago di Varese, Lago di Comabbio and Lake Lugano are also within easy driving distance. The closest airport to Ispra is Milan Malpensa, 42 minutes’ drive away.
