A sleek and charming bungalow in the town of Radda in Chianti, La Casa di Radda is a lovely getaway for 5 people. It’s a striking balance of beauty and convenience. The pool is directly in front of the sheltered terrace which is furnished with an array of cushioned wooden chairs, and a wooden dining table – the perfect place to enjoy an authentic home-cooked Tuscan dish. The town of Radda can be seen upon the hill behind the olive groves and the pool is surrounded by elegant stone paving. The interior is simply but tastefully decorated in clean minimal colours, but with an unmistakable charm. Each room has been carefully arranged to complement a subtle colour scheme and to create a restful environment. The calm and comfortable lounge area features a wood-burning stove, and displays a style that’s at once attractive, modern and classic. What’s more, thanks to its proximity to Radda, one can walk there very easily to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of a Tuscan town. It has a peaceful and calming atmosphere, set in the bowl of a small valley, and yet is still just a short walk from various restaurants. A particular highlight is the lovely sheltered terrace, situated under a pergola beside the house, and overlooking the pool and gardens. It’s a great place to dine or to lounge with a glass of wine and soak up the Tuscan experience. As for the interior, both the main reception room and the bedrooms have an effortlessly comfortable and spacious feel, so you’ll be at home whatever the weather.
