"Verona" is a grand period property built by Colonel Markswell in 1899. The property has retained its original beauty and Victoria architectural features, including high pressed metal ceilings, stained glass, chandeliers and elaborate cornices. Our home interior embraces the grandeur of this past era, while enjoying all the comforts of modern living, like modern appliances, high Speed internet, ducted air conditioning throughout and beautiful luxury bathrooms, to make your stay a unique and memorable experience. Please note that bedroom 6 can only be accessed through bedroom 4 or 5. Guests have access to the entire house (with the exception of a small storage room under the stairs and a storage room upstairs). The house and rooms and garden are large and spacious and are yours to enjoy. The house has a warm homely feel to it. We are both available on mobile phone and text and via the Airbnb App if you have any questions during your stay. Bus stop is just up the road. The High street shops are a 2 minute drive or 10-15 minute walk away.
