Our rammed-earth self-contained separate guest retreat is situated in a large peaceful 12-acre bush setting only a few minutes drive from Buderim village. Visiting kangaroos, a modern peaceful space and views into the bush all contribute to a serene stay, whether you are with us for two nights, two weeks, or longer. A hidden suburban oasis. Our family has lived in and travelled to many countries and we look forward to welcoming visitors from around the globe - or from just around the corner. You will be asked upon booking with us if you prefer a bottle of red or white and that will be ready and waiting for you to unwind with on arrival, along with breakfast essentials like milk, bread, cereals and spreads and other pantry or homemade treats. I will always ask if you have dietary or lifestyle requirements. Feel free to book instantly if you have children over the age of 9-years of age travelling with you. The space however is not really suitable for children under that age. If you would like to discuss or query this at all I am very happy to chat with you so please just message me first. - Off-street secure parking for up to three cars (or trailers) - Separate guest entrance - Crim-safe sliding security door that maximises both security and the breeze - A welcome pack that includes milk and bread and other goodies - Wi-Fi - Smart TV with Netflix and Free-to-Air Channels - Bluetooth speaker - Spare Apple phone charger - USB Wall Charger - Tall ceilings with passive breezes throughout - Ceiling fans in bedrooms and lounge area - Guest-only outside terrace balcony with dining and seating area with views into the bush - Insect-screened louvered windows in all rooms - Space heaters in winter, extra standing fan for summer - Rugs for those cooler nights on the couch - Black-out blinds in both bedrooms - Kitchen with fridge / freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nesprsso coffee machine and capsules, small appliances, coffee plunger and a Nutri-Bullet - Washer, dryer, iron and portable clothes horse - Helpful supplies in kitchen and bathroom to get you started - Heated towel rail in bathroom - Architect-designed with rammed-earth walls - Hardwood floors in living and sleeping areas Guests have two bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other with two super king singles. Both bedrooms have plenty of hanging and drawer space for personal effects and fans and louvered windows to maximise breezes but screened to keep out any unwanted insects. Off both bedrooms is a lounge area with TV (with Netflix), DVD. Guests also have a private terrace and outside seating area with table and chairs looking into the bush. While our guest retreat has its own seperate entry and facilities, we do live in the main house on-site with our family and small older dog called Poppy. A comprehensive guide will be provided listing many of the local restaurants, services and attractions on the Coast. We are contactable by mobile, or only a 'knock' away should you have further questions. Your privacy will also be respected if you prefer your solitude. Buderim is situated on an ancient volcano above the popular seaside towns of Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Alexandra Headlands and only half an hours drive to Noosa or the Hinterland. Buderim itself commands amazing views up and down the coastline from almost every street The village-like atmosphere, lovely shops, cafes, parks, walks, waterfalls all make Buderim one of the top places for people to visit. We are only 20 minutes from Australia Zoo and the Eumundi Markets. Close to golf courses, botanical gardens, a maze and of course two world-class local beaches Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland. Other beaches on our Coast include the stunning Noosa Main Beach, Peregian, Sunshine, Dicky Beach, Caloundra, Alexandra, & Moffat to name just a few. While we are only minutes from Buderim village, bus routes and main roads, a car is generally the best way to get around the Coast and its various attractions . The Sunshine Coast is made up of many small communities each, with its own unique attractions. If a bus stop is required it is only 10 minutes walk away and will allow access to the beaches, shopping centres, University, hospital and eating places. We have plenty of secure off street parking. Kangaroos may hop past as you have your breakfast on your deck area and the odd parrot or two may come and say hello. You are in a secure and quiet area with quick access to shops and ammenities including the hospital, the University or Buderim schools if those places are the reason for your visit. If you are here for a Sunshine Coast getaway, Buderim is perfect for being up the road from the beach and down the road from the Hinterland - both are areas worth exploring.
