Country house with pool 20 min from Turin

Historical, very spacious (350m2) Italian farmhouse (villa/casa padronale), ideally located in the countryside just outside the city of Turin with large walled garden (2000m2), private swimming pool (9 x 3; open from end of May till end of September), pigeonnier tower and 13 hectares of private land. In winter you can reach sky resorts in Val di Susa (Bardonecchia, Sansicario, Sestrieres, Souse D'Oulx) in an hour. We prefer to rent the house for 7 days from Saturday to Saturday. Country house "La Materassera" provides an ideal base for families with children or friends to visit the beautiful city of Turin, it's museums and royal palaces or the whole of the Piedmont region. After a day of city, mountains, wine hills or sea, sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the garden and of course the swimming pool. The house was built in the 18th century and is still in its original state. It has a total area of approximately 350m2 of living space consisting of: - a living kitchen - TV room - 2 bathrooms (and outdoor shower near the pool) - 3 bedrooms - spacious lounge (with sleeping sofa) with big terrace offering beautiful mountain views! One bedroom and one bathroom are on the ground floor. On the first floor there's the master bedroom (with a king size bed) and the second bedroom with 2 single beds that can be prepared as a double bed too. The house is set up for 8 people We prefer to rent the house for 7 days from Saturday to Saturday, contact us for shorter/longer stays. The house is the "casa padronale" i.e. house of the landlord (Manor) of a typical L-shaped Italian historical farm. The property is still in it's original state and has its own private (walled and gate) garden. The farmers are still living in the farm (on the other side of the wall) The lower part of the Manor (the part where the servants used to live) is rented to a nice couple without kids. A small portion of the garden (in front of the rented part) is for exclusive use of the tenants, they access their apartment using the common garden gate. The pool and most of the garden is for the exclusive use of our guests. We are a couple with two boys (and a dog), Clarien is Dutch and Aldo Italian. After living abroad for 20 years, The Netherlands, France and UK, we moved back to Turin. The house is Aldo's old family house, we have decided to renovate it and make it available for tourists to enjoy (and for us sometimes!) During your stay we will do everything to help, answer questions and give tips about places and museums to visit and of course where to eat. We speak Dutch, English, French and a bit of German. The house is located in between the villages of Druento and San Gillio. It's a 5 min drive to the center of these villages where you find everything you need. At 10/15 min drive there's a huge mall for the bigger shopping. Driving into (the center) Turin takes about 20 min by car. The house is 5 min drive to the entrance of the royal hunting park of the "Reggia di Veneria Reale" (Royal House of Savoy, included in the UNESCO Heritage List) where you can rent bikes and visit the Royal Castles. Ski resorts: Bardonecchia, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario,/ Cesana Torinese, Sestrieres (1 hrs) Turin historic city center (20 min) Turin airport (20 min) Milan airport (Malpensa, 1 hr 30 min) Turin train station (20 min) Bus to the center of Turin (every 20 min) leaving from the village of Druento Having two children ourselves, the house is well equipped!!! There is a ping-pong table, badminton bats, jeu-de-boulle sets, and even a "sjoelbak" and there are always a couple of balls lying around!
