Ruby is a cosy little place very much a cubby house for adults. Located 10 minutes walk from the city centre to all Ballarat has to offer. It’s cleaned and sterilised after each guest checks out. The bed is one queen size bed that sleeps 2 people. There are no other beds. I do not allow dogs. Apologies to all dog owners. PLEASE NOTE: No checkins after 10pm Ruby is ideally suited to couples for romantic getaways, as well as singles seeking solitude. It’s a great place to have some ‘Alone time’ for anyone needing some quiet space. I will settle you in and then leave you alone for the duration of your stay, unless you require me for anything. The house is 5 minutes walking distance from Federation Uni or 10 minutes walk from central Ballarat for anyone attending business meetings or functions. The property has its own private access, so you can come and go as you like without disturbing anyone. The TV has a built in DVD player so bring your movies if you wish to watch one. Please note that Ruby has an extremely clean and functional composting toilet installed. If this is an issue of concern for you, please consider carefully before making a booking. The house is thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom after each guest. Complete tiny house in very private garden with private access from rear lane. Access is through an automatic rollerdoor and you will be given the device to operate the door along with the keys to the tiny house. You can come and go as you please through the rollerdoor, weather you’re walking or driving. N.B: Please note large or high vehicles may have difficulty with access as the height of the entrance is low, but there is parking at the front of the property that is unrestricted and quite safe. I will greet you and show you through the tiny house and inform you of everything you need to know for your stay. I live on the same property as the tiny house, but my house is completely out of view around a corner, so your privacy is assured. I am available to guests via SMS or phone at any time should you have any questions or needs during your stay. Located at the rear of the property, backing onto and overlooking the Yarrowee river and parklands, in a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. You will feel a thousand miles from anywhere, even though you’re only 10 minutes walk from everything. The comfortable queen sized loft bed will give you such a relaxed nights sleep, you’ll wake refreshed and ready for your day. There are a multitude of restaurants and pubs in Ballarat and many are close and within walking distance of the tiny house. Ballarat’s Main Street, Sturt Street, is 10 minutes walk away and has a vast range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, galleries and cafes. Sovereign Hill is 3 minutes drive or 20 minutes walk away. The Ballarat Observatory is a short 15 minute stroll away. Lake Wendouree is a leisurely 10 minute drive. There is access to securely park small to medium vehicles inside the property next to the tiny house. Large trees in the garden make for a great shady and private getaway. The goldfish pond and fountain create a nice relaxing atmosphere throughout the garden. Please note that the tiny house has a eco friendly composting toilet. The toilet is thoroughly cleaned for each new guest and has a continuously running exhaust fan to remove any odours. Also, lost keys will result in a charge of $250.00 for replacement of keys and the garage door controller.
